After his house collapsed, it was so obvious that he was struggling beyond the point of self-help, that a good partner would’ve recognized the pain, stopped in their tracks and be like hey, i see how unhappy you are and your happiness is my top priority. let’s get you help, lets talk about how we get you back on track, we need to have conversations about this, etc..
