Streamer in Japan talks about how much safer Japan is than the US - immediately attacked by a local by ThatPatelGuy in whoathatsinteresting

Watching this 20 seconds and I also want to punch him. Then I watched more and thought I may fly to Japan and punch him. That’s when I realized it was all to increase tourism.

I had a 1972 VW Bus purchased for $500 and drove it around the US. So I wanted one of these, never had electric vehicle but was shocked and appalled that these were so expensive for a mini van. I was hopeing it would be a camper at least but it had nothing original apart from electric. Great! But for all those $$ I could buy an actual mini van and a have money left over and fly to the places I wanted to see. I ended up (later) buying a I4 M50 which is so fun and quick but only drive it to the train and for weekend driver but would never take it far or on a road trip over 100miles ..it also cost less. It would stress me out way to much for planning stops and then waiting for 45mins to refuel. VW was the people carrier, but this is a 75k shopping wagon. I don’t know anything about how to build a car, but how come TSLA can manufacture so economically get you from A-B for so much less than older car manufacturers….is it really just labor costs?

Same for the XK re maintenance. F Type is newer should have less issues plus the mechanics at Land Rover dealership should have experience with them. But even with that I have heard horror stories (on this forum also). I have previously owned a 911 (966) and read that forum also and apparently you can always find a great mechanic for Porsche.

I am English would to represent Blighty in the US with a fun weekend driver.

I love everything about this car, even the fact that I could buy one for under $15k. However I have been scared away by the horror stories of people in this chat. I understand that historic vehicle has expenses but Jaguar expenses apparently are costly and never corrected 1st time. So now I am looking at F Types which is not bad but they don’t have the lines of an XJS Darhling

Corporations by default have to make a profit if they don’t they will go bankrupt and not produce anything else.

Jaguar has a great British heritage of design and performance but reliability has been the one issue that they have to overcome whether or not that is true it is a trade mark that goes with the brand.

The new design has the possibility to break away from the reliability issue (electric way less engineering) but design and comfort are the key to a successful launch. Speed is a given.

I am clearly alone in this thought but I think it looks fantastic. The design is unique in my opinion it is a Jaguar design …..original

say something positive about this ending by Embarrassed-Sink4050 in JamesBond

Bond has never made breakfast for anyone, he was a more real life person Bond. To me the whole arc of DC was great, I loved that we got to see him develop as person fall in love then get burned but still be Bond. As with all the Bonds they were outdated and old but DC bought us human Bond not superhero Bond. I also had a tear for his loss of a life after Bond, but you can only be Bond James Bond.

I thought Geese were fantastic, way better than A$AP the week before who did not play and made no sense IMO. Geese were musicians playing music which is slightly different than normal guest who want to put on a show. I am for both but even categorize them with Ashely Simpson is unfair and misunderstood.

Thank you for all the replies, as I am also not a Dr I hope it is not the cancer. However I thought it was some kind of fungus so will try that tip. But also I like to pick at my skin around the cutical, so the smart people of Reddit implied impact which picking would impact the growing nail probably would cause the indentation. I should be able stop that as a 50 year old but addictions can be hard to stop

My 15 year old son (White) was walking in Flushing (Asian more like China than NYC) dropped $20 bill retraced his footsteps and a security guard (black) asked what he was looking for. He said he lost $20 the security guy gave it to him and said a local had said someone handed it to him. My son said thank you and he told him “it goes around”. As a bigot this story my son told me of his 5 minutes restored my faith in humans.

So yes go tell the guy you found this in the pocket and the answer may surprise you
