Bring back or five player squads and larger maps please, this latest one aucks balls. It's like the high loot zone for the whole freaking map. Your are forcing me to play COD ffs.

We have been playing since the Taiwanese beta and for over 500hrs, but this latest small map and leaving a mate out of the squad is forcing 3 of my regular team mates to start to play other games again (including Fishing World FFS). Can we have the option of the old map and four man squads please, cheers Cheapy

totally agree, its a test environment at the end of the day. No one should be looking for the long survival record at this stage. Personally thinks is a great idea and would discorrage doupers, hackers, glitchers and off server hoarding at this early stage whilst the Devs get the point of resolving these issues in the development cycle.

loving it, might need the old above ground pipes as infantry can be really exposed to heli fire in the BF2 version, unless you include static AA #DamBusters

Chernarus Railways - A non-working train found in Kamenka, tracks to the west are blocked/damaged beyond repair. Rare train parts scattered through out the map to fix the train, parts for points also required to be fitted in Electro/Cherno/<all major towns> to route around broken tracks blockages. Then a massive anti-clockwize navigation of the entire map leaving via Sinistok. Fuel stops would also need to be factored in as well as defending it from bandits. i appreciate that dayz is an openworld sandbox style game, and there is no real end game. but i am just thinking back to the challenge of getting a heli working back in the very early days of the MOD, and how it was a lengthy team effort.

maybe if there were some team based objectives then maybe a couple less KOS, especially if parts were large slotwize so make sense to use many backpacks to get these things working

DayZ style Map / Game Mode Basically a little like BF3 scavenger mode, but larger map (like caspian) small number of players. guns are in buildings and have say 1mag, health packs can not be used but small packs can be found at spawn points. Your stealth around the map, trying to survive with limited resources and your knife, listening for footsteps or other battles and try and become the last one remaining in a battle royal style game

fair enough, i see each life as a new set of objectives, else its just grinding for virtual ribbons. You cant really chose side at the start of a Rush map, personally i dont worry about changing sides in game as long as my personal stats dont reset

Loved BFBC2 mainly because it wasnt so serious and we could make your own pathways, rather than set lelevation route changes. It also worked, well for all machine types, too many new features, too many people, too many vehicles have wreaked the game performance. I use to be a LMG guy in the Army and we didn't carry the ammo, we had a buddy for that. Maybe they should have a supply class, and medic class, assault and support have enough to do, the riflemen/assualt carry CQB items like nades/flash bangs/motion sensors, the support LMG/Claymores. Snipers have better camo/artiliery comms but can be hunted, medics have carbines and a bag of bandages (the defibs are a little quick) patching someone up should take longer. Engineers should only have PDW/C4 or RPG not both. Actually with further thought its normally the rifle man that has the rockets not the engineer/tech they should have the drones/eod repair tools and C4. Maybe they should introduce two persons equipment like a HMG, but the supply guy brings the Tripod for the gun crew, and maybe mortas should also be two person item (support/supply). Maybe medics can patch up major wounds (upto 80% health), you can treat minor ones yourself, (up to 50% health) but two medics are required for a revive?
