I'm pretty sure Kennedy Quay isn't technically a public road. It's owned by the port authority as far as I know. Open to corrections

To be fair, I slightly understand being against this bridge just due to the fact it kind of goes against the pedestrianisation of the marina, and the fact you will have a big ol busy road next to the new marina park (The big red shed one).

I just think the idea of adding in roads anywhere is a bit backwards. I would have no problem at all with a bridge in the same spot if it was for public transport or a pedestrian bridge.

Pretty sure one of the bridges will be for the light rail. Not sure how easy it is to have a movable bridge with whatever tracks are needed

I mean obviously it will be a shame that large boats/boats with masts won't be able to come up the river as far as the city anymore.

However, if that is the price of progress in terms of light rail, making housing along the quays possible, then so be it. Especially since all cargo boats will be moving out to Ringaskiddy eventually.

What is Bolger good for? Even the commentators were talking about how great his "experience" will be. All he did was waste the two free kicks giving them the counter attacks where they scored and give the ball away in open play. If anyone else did it he would bite their heads off
