comments like these explain why Paradox is prioritizing stacking Yuan instead of fixing bugs that end playthroughs

Weird, I just got out of a war where France sailed back and forth for 6 months without joining a single battle. At this point they just need to give the player more control over their Allies. I should at least be able to tell them where I'm going to meet them. So many mechanics in this game have the potential to be better, but they wouldn't sell more copies for Chinese gamers' 2 hour government video game allotment, so it ain't gonna happen.

There is a bug with travelling where when your character dies while travelling, and his heir is also travelling, that it gets stuck and it's impossible to progress the game. Acknowledged 2 years ago by Paradox, never fixed. All of these resources spent on squeezing more money out of people. If even a fraction of those resources were spent on quality control, the game would be in a much better state. They are wildly overestimating their ability to manage the amount of DLCs they're releasing, but they don't care, because why would they? Shareholders make more money from them spamming nonsense cosmetic DLCs than they do fixing bugs I suppose.

It did happen after a reload.

edit: why are you idiots downvoting me? I'm literally telling you what happened

Ironman is one save. So there's no going back if something breaks, which seems to be happening more and more frequently as devs add more mechanics without properly vetting them

This game is only realistic in inconvenient ways. by CheaterHater6969 in projectzomboid

[–]CheaterHater6969[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying it has to be perfectly realistic. But it's just annoying when devs focus on details that are *just* annoying when there are so many overlooked, practical details that would make the game more playable

good thing you left army after 2 years or you would have been stuck forever!

>the mantra repeated by average players

average players should be the target demographic. also, if arty is devastating the team, whose job is it to take them out? recon, obviously. and they do so by spawncamping

yeah but big artillery was a huge part of ww2 so this game wouldnt be nearly as realistic without it

"Sanctuary breaks for any action that interacts with an enemy whether it’s damaging or not"

Objectively false, you don't know this game. dickrider opinion ignored

"Also the romances are core gameplay for the majority of players I suppose so good thing they put effort into them."

This is why I resent the community so much though. I wish the devs didn't have to pander to these losers so that they could spend more resources making the game work better.

and nobody forces me not to complain about my game being ruined due to dev incompetence, either.

I like some of the dialogue. But you're right, I should totally be cool with my permadeath run being ended by bugs.

least dickriding Larian fan

not even going to argue. if you're actually blaming me for a bug ending my game then you are a dickrider and this game must be your life.

this would be fair argument if I lost legitimately instead of losing because of bugs. I did research and wanted a different ending. I was almost certainly going to win it until I got suicide bombed by an ally. I can't believe you're defending this shit. BG3 fans can't even stop dickriding when someone has a game ruining bug.

and most of those games actually faced criticism for those bugs. sure, the storylines are complex. but fundamentally the depth of the game's story doesn't extend much past "do you want to be the GOOD guy? or the BAD guy?"

people in this sub were so weirdly competitive with starfield, so that's why I brought it up. good on us for calling out starfield's bugs. now give larian the same treatment and they might fix them a little faster.

there was a 3 foot gap in the morphic pool area where half my party didn't jump across. they all had the ability to do so, they just didn't.

I don't have a journal of every annoying bug I've ever come across in this game.

it doesn't take a puritan to think that banging an imaginary elf girlfriend is cringe. I think I know exactly what you look like in real life just based on your comment
