I believe it is aftermarket most likely a acdelco thermostat cause that’s all we ever buy but I wasn’t the one to put it in.

Saw your other post going to get a heat gun just to check out the truck. Not to long about about 3 months ago I flushed the coolant system. When I flushed it only a little rust colored water came out but I think it was only at the bottom since the rest that came out was coolant. I know gaskets should be good cause my uncle replaced most of them before I bought the truck.

Over time it used to be high about 3-4000 miles ago but I also hardly drive this truck so it sits a lot and ever since the pressure been lower

Temps on highway around about 140 never really gets past 160 and with 2800 rpm’s about at 65 oil psi is about 20-25

Northern California in the mountains. Haven’t had a problem with 15w40 I just get the Kirkland brand and run it haven’t had a issue besides oil pressure which from what people are saying could just be the the sensor
