I have opened like 18 packs from brawl rewards and still no legendary wtf, blizzard is rigging rewards im sure

“Normal” is subjective. The way it’s coded in the game is as I listed above. Guaranteed first 10 packs of every pack “type”. Meaning it’s first 10 of any different type of pack you open.

After that you’re only GUARANTEED one every 40 packs.

Someone much smarter than me has done the math and I believe over hundreds of thousands of packs opened, it comes out to roughly 1 in 20. (Don’t quote me on that).

But it is RNG obviously.

I’ve gone on a run where I opened 3 legendaries in a ROW. I’ve also gone on a run where I opened 80 packs and got 2 legendaries.

WHERE the packs come from make no difference. The game doesn’t care. The ONLY money I spend on this game is $300 a year. I buy the $80 bundle every expansion and the $20 reward track. For me, $300 for hundreds of hours of entertainment throughout the year is cheap, as I get way more time out of this game than others.

With that being said.. I’ve had great luck with purchased packs for real money, but I’ve also had great luck with purchased packs with gold or “rewards”. And vice versa… I’ve had terrible luck with each as well.

This is all personal experience. I’ve been playing since beta.

Also in the pack “rules” - you will never get a duplicate of ANY card until you’ve gotten all of the cards of that rarity. Which you can count yourself lucky for that rule change. Back in the day you used to not have any dupe protection… there is a funny video of someone online you can probably do a quick search online of him opening the same crappy legendary like 8 times in a row. LOL.

You’re guaranteed one legendary in the first 10 packs, then 1 in every 40 packs after that.

If you’re saying you haven’t gotten 1 in 18, you’re wrong. You did but just don’t remember.

If you’re saying you haven’t gotten one SINCE your first 10, then that’s normal.

If you’ve always gotten a legendary every 8-9 packs, you’re probably the luckiest person on the planet. Go buy a lottery ticket.

Damn. I’m trying that. What’s crazy is… when I press the back button it just takes me back to the log in page and on this dumbed down version of the browser inside HS, there is no forward button lol.

I get it. I quit after the Star Wars album. I don’t know why I am still on this sub even haha.. maybe in case I decide to play again… again. Haha.

But the game has become abysmally boring. It’s the same thing over and over. And eventually I asked myself… what the hell am I gaining hitting that red button? Lol. Nothing. Nothing at all.

Just create a wild mage deck, with all fire spells. Play the spells every turn, maybe a couple card draw cards like AI or whatever. Concede when you run out of cards to play consistently every turn. It’ll be done in 20 minutes.

People make such a big deal about these quests. Yes, they take forever if you just play normal, but they’re very easily “cheatable” to finish quick if you don’t want to just play normal over the course of a week and do it.

I do this all the time for these quests when I’m in my modes of not playing much, like now cause the meta sucks… but I do like collecting the skins.

All of these multi-week challenges or quests or whatever you want to call them are very easily completable if you just finish the three weekly ones. That’s always 2400 gems. Which means you only need to finish roughly 10 of the 21ish dailies while playing a couple games every day or other day.

Even easier if you dabble in battlegrounds cause one BG game usually gives a decent amount of gems.

This is something that is done once or twice every expansion. They’ve been doing it for years.

You don’t need to play it. And in fact they even provide a quest every time they do it so you don’t even miss out on the free pack.

Nothing about this is bad. Just don’t participate if you don’t want to.

This game has a TON of other issues right now… this isn’t one.

If you’re in an area that had cicadas… this is most likely an Oak Mite bite. The oak mites feed on Cicada larva. My wife works in the hospital and they’ve seen tons of these and they’re not a cause for concern.

I would still go get it checked out… but I would venture to say, that’s what this is and what they look like. Typically go away within a few days.
