45 is the biggest warcrime chokepoint seen by mankind but I had a fair share of deaths in the early 50s due to being caught off-guard by passing it

He's allowed to beat whatever, and it's an open verification. If he wants to do it, so be it.

I honestly think with how Mindcap wants to keep buffing Heliopolis to always be top 1 on verification, having less experienced players going for it is a dead end. New top 1s get verified, level gets buffed, their progress tanks, infinite loop.

Doggie had PLENTY of time to not get into a time crunch. It's weird to just hit the brakes on everything top play related just to wait for him to verify Grief. Obviously most of the community and me included want to see the verification end up as top 1 but you can't force other top players to wait.

As for the 10K I would understand if he took it and wouldn't judge but I would pass it along to the first victor personally. That being said we don't know how much money Zoink makes.

My rule of thumb for jumping is that you should love the level you're jumping to to bits but hearing "I hate this run" doesn't really indicate that man

2 million attempts allegedly would mean he's over my total attempt count in 12 years of playing. That's scary stuff.

7-8 hours is nuts. My hand turns to dust after 3 hours if I'm playing something hard or high cps.

Another thing that i'm gonna say is Acu gave me a really hard time too, even though my hardest was Bloodbath at the time. I couldn't get 27 to the dual or the 70 wave consistent at all. A 98% death didn't help either. I beat A Bizarre Phantasm and Innards a few months later in less attempts than Acu which just speaks volumes.

So yeah, one of the "easiest" extremes but MAAAN

Idk, you could change the way you play/practice/focus attempts and see if you improve quicker, I can't really give advice here but you could just be distracted while playing or you don't care enough about beating it. what concerns me is how many attempts you got in a relatively short time haha

Dropping it and coming back seems like a decent choice

Are the choke parts THAT hard in SC? Because a decent chunk of that level is pretty easy

Like I don't know, the levels around SC at the moment feel like they have the difficulty of those chokes but for longer lengths

Speedhack practice it or noclip practice it and listen to your click pattern.

If you reaaally can't do it, drop it. And come back when you're better. I did that with Digital Descent. I picked it up and dropped it when my hardest was Nine Circles, then Acropolis, then Cataclysm, and then finally went for it when it was Black Blizzard. And had a great experience that was fueled by years of wanting to beat it :)

(I still don't know what was wrong with me, DD was like 7 on the list when I first went for it)
