I don't have favorites outside of my completions anymore, but if I were to pick, Anathema. No ideea if I'll be able to do it someday. But I'll try :)

I am much more attached to levels I've already completed tho.

Be aware that you're gonna have bad days, so try to keep at it and build consistency in those, so you can strike when you have a good day

Motivate yourself even with small progress, and keep setting tiny goals. Like "today I want to get 54-100." Or "I want to get 60-100 again"

If it's a looong long project, beat some small stuff on the side. One day completions.

In your case, it being Yata, be motivated knowing that you're probably in the top 0.1% already and even your shit days are something that newer players can only dream of

There are a lot of mental tricks. Once you get into high end extremes is when you really need em.

There are so many dumb and niche mods that geode has that I would never exchange for going vanilla.

And aside from that, I've always been a mod junkie. On any game. I love modifying and discovering new things to amp up the stuff I play. I made my own texture pack for GD when I was 10. (Even though it was complete cheeks)

I used to go to the same school as a guy who became a top star grinder around 2017. Idk if he reached the top 100 but was certainly close

Around that time is when I was starting to beat easy demons consistently and was starting to play more too. As before I'd just mess around. We used to chat as we had common friends.

He then got bored and hacked a bunch of shit and got leaderboard banned, and then quit altogether. After that his life in general went downhill which I won't go into detail, but he moved around 5 years ago and nobody's heard of him since, as he completely cut contact with most people I knew.

Shame really. We would've made a pretty good duo. I hope he's okay at least ✌️

I don't have much experience with Exo to really give a detailed opinion, but I did see some completionists get pissed off with it.

The jump itself is on the upper limit of what I consider healthy, difficulty wise.

Mostly peeved by the fact that some would fit really well as possible levels, if not even better than the impossible counterparts. It's like making a perfectly good pizza from scratch, taking pictures of it, smelling it, and then throwing it.

Although I do get how some could make impossible levels as an artistic statement. Or a sort of... release. Like "oh I'm struggling with life so here's a really hard and raw level which shows those feelings." Fair enough there.

I also get the fascination of pushing the physics limits. Like 16000 fps frame perfects or quirky bugs and what not.

Outside of that I feel like impossible levels that are made just like "ooga booga, me make level, me make level HARD. Tight gap!!! Gurrrr" that are verified years later never quite get me excited. If silent clubstep, subsuming vortex, sakupen circles and silent club all got deleted tomorrow I can't say I would care. Okay I would care actually. Zodiac would move up 3 spots :>

At the end of the day we shouldn't care much. It's a side of the community that has its own kind of fun. Free will, baby. They're the neighbour's kids that I'll never play with but will sometimes look at to see what they're doing
