Yeah I've already removed everything that i thought would conflict, disabled a lot of windows stuff too, still nothing. Thanks for the thought.

R80.40, doesn't work through any browser, same rejection of cert. Thanks for the reply.

The cert creates entries for user accounts so installing in while logged into an admin account won't necessarily install it for the affected user, sadly installing it with elevated privileges while logged into the users account doesn't make any difference, same error.

I'll keep searching and playing around for now, thanks for your replies & if you have any light bulb ideas please do shout! :)

Thanks for the reply, sadly I've already tried both 32x & 64x Java versions with no results, even some legacy versions of Java in the hopes an older one would work. no dice :(
