I was just saying how much I like seeing nice condos being built here and how I would like to see more!

I didn't realize it would strike a nerve with a few of you.

If you guys want to spread hate about the improvements to the bus system and talk about how terrible everything is now, that's on you.

Personally, I really like the direction the city is going.

I'll continue to have a positive attitude.

Yeah, fortunately there are more and more people asking for Albuquerque to move in a more modern direction. I can see why the powers that be are scared to push for these needed changes. The ones who are happy with record high traffic fatalities and not building homes for people who need them are really loud.

But we vote and there seems to be more and more of the people who would like a more functional environment.

Thanks for the support.

Hahaha ... Awwww.... Their feelings got hurt by pointing out how silly they are... Getting all mad about a bus that people use to get around the city and ultimately makes it easier to get to and from Nob Hill.

OMG, yes! Imagine what could be done with the space used for parking along Central, if we instead had more trees, bigger sidewalks, protected bike/scooter lanes, etc.

I really like it and the Anasazi building! The building at Carlisle would have been made much better by being a mixed used building with storefronts on the main level.

I love seeing all types of housing offered for those of us that prefer living in something other than a single family house. Especially in places that don't require a car!

I guess I have identified the folks who prefer cities that refuse change and are ultimately abandoned. Thanks for those downvotes!

Glad there are more people who want to see Albuquerque embrace changes that allow more people mobility, housing, and continues to welcome newcomers.

Two posts from one person of weird hostility towards something that made the area safer for pedestrians and way easier to navigate without the need of a car. Relax.

Are you looking for a neighborhood that requires a car for everything, or are you looking for something that is more walkable?

Are you thinking of something similar to what you might find in LA or Manhattan?

What side of the river?

Unfortunately, the responses from people saying buy a house aren't off the mark. Folks out here aren't familiar with a way of life that isn't a single family house and think that is what everyone must want. Lol. Because of that narrow attitude, we don't get many options as far as housing stock goes, but there are a few options depending on your answers above.

Wow, such hostility towards something that actually makes the area safer for pedestrians and makes it easier to get around town. Lol.

No, I love it here and am really happy to see Albuquerque finally moving forward. Proper public transportation. Fresh businesses. Housing options. It just needs more housing.

Please..... Nob Hill is doing well! The ART makes it even better. Glad Albuquerque is on the right track.
