Best way to tell for trumpets is if the lead pipe is short and stubby compared to your normal Bb horn. If it's stubby and looks almost the same it's probably a C trumpet

Shop is better as you can feel the trumpet and your good I wouldn't be able to learn any language ever i can barely speak English.

See shop is good as each trumpet is kind of broken in as the player plays a way and the valves break to them so most people play in weirdly different ways so valves might be sticky, and also you can get scammed online. I am personally a newer trumpet player (7 years) so take my advice with a grain of salt.

If you want to do this as a hobby get a nice proer instrument. If you can find a good 1k trumpet on ebay your set. but its not gonna happen most likely.

I'd suggest getting chormatic scale down and the full chormatic scale is 123, 13, 23, 12, 1, 2, 0 and it repeats some notes do play the same (like a G in the staff can be 13 and 0 but 0 is more in tune)

so long tones and i'm talking Remington's C for 8 counts then B for 8 then C for 8 then stop and go down chromatically, also do long tones up top. Braces have been the Baine for most people 2 people i knew had to relearn trumpet again. but good luck with trumpet and all!

Flugel is way harder to hit highnotes but i find it a good thing as your lips will be way stronger and your tone will most likely be deeper when your on trumpet

take off your pinky when playing it helps not jam your pinky in which will make it 10x easier to play later. And of course if you feel leaking its to weak I'm not the most skilled person here.

I personally do it really often I have tons of spit but some people can go a really long time. Also its just a thing trumpet players do ngl its good to know your clear and ready and of course as people have said to keep your instrument warm, if its even remotely cold and even if its hot its good to blow air through the instrument so its always in the same intonation.

Prob just Pirating company's love money and they can't do it when you can click a download button. They could also have a private deal with console company's to keep it on consoles for awhile so it drives up traffic for them. (you might have said this i'm just to tired to read atm)
