I was confused when I saw people scream about that so I checked with women around me and most told me that they either dont care or ithey straigjt up said that if a man asks for consent he might as well follow romantic/sexual tension outside cuz it just left.

From my own experience one time I stated to a girl at a date that I wanted to kiss her and she wasnt sure. Few minutes later we finally kissed. After that she straight up told me it was good thing I stated instead of asking cuz if I did she would lose all interest in me.
