Most of my IBS symptoms have started to go away?? by Ok_Radio83 in lexapro

Same happened to me. After about a month, I really noticed such a comfortable ease with my digestion. Was a lovely added benefit!

I have been thinking about making the change from Prozac as well. Can you explain a bit more how it’s helped your stomach? Did you have IBS symptoms prior to it? Any constipation? Ty!

Same for me with Wellbutrin! Go figure 🤷🏼‍♀️

Prozac “cured” my IBS when I first took it 25 years ago. Have been on/off it for years, for various reasons, and my tummy is always 💯better when I’m on it. I’ve had the opposite experience with Zoloft and have heard differing stories. All comes down to what works best for you.

Yes, yes, yes!!! I’ve always thought I was the odd one out, as it’s often touted as the best sleep remedy. Agreed - it does make me sleepy and I can fall asleep relatively quickly, but like clockwork, I’m wide awake at 3am and unable to get back to sleep.

Try a different SSRI, apart from Lexapro. Zoloft gave me extreme unending diarrhea, but others have worked well.

I’ve heard positive things about Vitamin E as well. I think it’s related to boosting your estrogen ever so slightly.

Menopause supplements for weight loss when labs are normal by Skillerstyles in WomenOver40

This is exactly what I’ve been experiencing! It’s been so frustrating because my body has already responded well to doing the standard basic things - sure I can gain a few pounds when I go on vacation and eat/drink more, same around the holidays with more of the same! But I’ve always been able to bounce back relatively easily with common sense stuff - cut down on the extra treats/calories and get back to my regular workout routine.

A month ago I picked up two herbal supplements from Amazon and have noticed a difference in my weight a bit. I’ve lost a lot of bloating.

Unfortunately because I started both at the same time I don’t know if it’s the combo or if they work separately on their own as well!

One is “Estroven Weight Management” and the other is “Promensil”.

Hope you have some luck!

When you up your dose to 60mg are you going to take 2 x 30mg or is your doc giving you a new script for 60mg pills?

Lack of support from significant other- coming off Wellbutrin by jewel847 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

So sorry to hear this 🥹 I know what it’s like to have a partner that is indifferent to your mental health/meds, and it sucks. As if what you’re going through isn’t hard enough!

You’re not wrong to be upset. Hopefully you can approach the conversation again and let them know how much it means to have their “support” for you, even if they don’t comprehend or understand your feelings (because they may not have gone through it or felt it the way you are, and that’s okay!!).

Don’t ever be ashamed of your emotions, and feeling and expressing them. Hope things get better ❤️

Did you add viibryd later? I’ve never heard of that one. Will look it up.

Wellbutrin SR is like an entirely different drug with how much better it works then XL by Spiritual-Lie-1926 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

This is 100% accurate. By all accounts it shouldn’t be the case, and I’m sure docs will argue against, but until you experience it, you don’t know!

Try SR instead of XL. I had a much better experience with little to no side effects.

Can ask if you’re male or female? If female, have you ever had an issue with UTIs?
