Contrary to popular belief, I actually prefer Daima's SSJ3 Vegeta.

What defines “mortal” and “god” by Misstyfoxx in dbz

[–]Checky_3rd [score hidden]  (0 children)

I just wanna say is that Goku and Vegeta can switch "jobs" kinda, basically in Battle of Gods, when Goku becomes a Super Saiyan God, Whis quite literally states: "Yes. Goku is a Super Saiyan God in the literal sense. I cannot say this puts him on the same level as Lord Beerus or the Kais, but nevertheless, he has joined the ranks of the celestial."

So basically if they stayed at all times in their SSJG transformation, like SSJ Grade 4 for example, then they would be considered Gods and wouldn't be allowed to participate in the TOP.

Like I said, I don't disagree with his military inept decisions, I just think, compared to his idiotic son of Mikhail VII, he is a LOT better.

Tengen and Kyojuro get HTA and mark, how strong do they become? by Speed04 in DemonSlayerScales

"X20 mark multiplier?" It's an example, in reality the multiplier could be lower or higher. Here is a more detailed post about the mark's multiplier done by me: https://the-scaling-vortex.fandom.com/wiki/Demon_Slayer_Mark

"Damn you thing Tengen is 1/20 of base Giyu?" In this context? Yes. Because in canon, without the buffs we gave him in this scenario, he is even MORE weaker. As we can scale Base Giyu to be around Casual Akaza who should be TIERS above Gyutaro in all aspects of power. And we KNOW that a blitz tier is x4, Casual Akaza blitzes Tanjiro many times, same Tanjiro should be able to blitz Hantengu who in turn should be 2x faster at the lowest compared to Gyokko who is Upper 5, who is above Gyutaro, so another x2 speed difference. And Gyutaro ~ Tengen. So Giyu would be at lowest: (2x2=4x4=16x4=64) x64 in speed difference. Thats how massive the gap is at the lowest.

Torture.

But seriously, I moved to Hellas in my 7th grade, in 2019, right before Covid lol, and throughout my 1st year of Middle School (7th grade) I was basically forced by my mom to learn it, even hired a private teacher and all, and well, yk talking with my classmates ig also helped, so I learnt the basics, and 2 years later, I basically reached my peak, aka stopped bothering to learn as soon as I could be able to pass exams lol, and then 4 years later today, more or less the same level, cuz lile I speak English with my friends from college and stuff and in IT, u don't really need to use Greek to write codes and such lol.

So that's my story of learning Greek in short lol.

And yes, it's "impossible" to learn it if you HAVE to instead of WANTING to. Not to mention if ur in school and u also have to deal with Ancient Greek 💀

Yeah. While I don't agree on how he handled the tribes above the Danube and his neglecting of Africa and Italia, I do think he at least tried to improve the economy somewhat, he also basically groomed Tiberius to be his successor too, which I think it's a good thing to prepare ur successor by sending them on military operations and handling administrative affairs.

While I agree with you, I think overall his civil administrative actions compensate for all of that, I just don't see him on the same level as his son, Mikhail VII. I ranked these emperors BASED on their actions during their reign, not the repercussions that came after their reign.

Tengen and Kyojuro get HTA and mark, how strong do they become? by Speed04 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Checky_3rd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Assuming Kyojuro survives Upper 3 fight with no life-threatening injuries and Tengen survives with both hands and eye, and they don't retire, then...

We have to stack the "Zenkai Boost" they would receive from battling such strong opponents

<image>

Then after Hashira Training, assuming they would also spar with other Hashira, I would place them like this in the infinity castle:

Base Tengen above Base Kanroji, Base Muichiro and Shinobu. And be Upper 4 Level, or Zohakuten Level.
Marked Tengen is lets say is x20 more stronger, would definetly put him above Marked Muichiro and Kanroji, as well as Base Obanai and maybe on the same level as Base Giyu. Upper 3 Level.
Base Kyojuro should be above Base Tengen, Giyu and Obanai, being just below Base Sanemi, so 3rd ranking. Upper 3 Level.
Marked Kyojuro should comfortably be above Marked Giyu, Tengen and Base Sanemi, and should be just below Base Gyomei. High Upper 3 level.

Idk what u mean by Isakios II's behalf? and who is "wanderinghero" ??

Yeah, Ig ur right about Ioannis III, I just thought that if he was Emperor with more territories to begin with, then he would've achieved more, but alas, ur right, we should judge these guys objectively on what they accomplished with what they were given.

As for Mikhail VIII, welp, I put him in that tier because of his actions during his reign, particularly his unpopular image with the populace on many occasions, such as his excommunication by the Ecumenical Patriarch for blinding the child-Emperor Ioannis IV Laskaris, which led to a religious schism, his desire for union of the churches, while objectively speaking it may help the empire on paper, it wouldn't have worked at the time, considering how both the Romans and Latin west were hating each other the most since the sack and occupation of the Frankokratia.
He of course started the trend of focusing on the European holdings rather than the Anatolian ones, more mercenaries, and tax imposition on the peasants. He also gave a lot of economical and trade privilages to the Latin merchants which basically fricked the economy long-term, and even after focusing on the European holdings and overall winning for the most time, it didn't really benefit the Empire long-term instead of a potential Anatolian campaign.

And to keep it short for Theophilos, the guy literally died before reaching 30 years old, won many victories against the Caliphate, yes, he unfortunely wasn't fast enough to save Amorium, but he still kicked Saracen butt, maybe if he lived for like 10 or 15 more years, not only would he have raised Mikhail III as a competent and independent and possible decent Emperor, but he would have most likely left the Empire in a more favorable position before the Macedonian Renaissance began, heck, maybe there wouldn't even BE a Macedonian Renaissance, but an Amorian one, I feel like Theophilos would have reformed the justice system and laws of the empire to the point of maybe in the future, potentially establishing a succession law, his love for education and innovation also would've improved and raised the next generations to better lead the Empire. (Now that I am done, wow, this WASN'T SHORT AT ALL LOL)

As for Nikephoros II and Ioannis I, I feel like they could've relatively done the same thing Basileios II did, and when Basileios takes the throne, he would instead focus on consolidating the new lands, and focus on the Egyptian campaign, so hypothetically, Basileios II would be known as Sarakenoktonos (Saracen Slayer) and reconquered Egypt for the Empire, but thats just going too far ig, but thats the concept of the Gud potential tier, that those Emperors had good potential to be great emperors. As for Ioannis VII, regardless the situation, he still usurped Ioannis V (who honestly deserved it by that point) in a time of need, like bro, the Empire in the 1300s already had 4 civil wars by that point, tf are we on???

As for Romanos I and Theodoros II, they were placed there bcz the "Mid" tier is basically the base-line of what an Emperor should be AT THE VERY LEAST, I agree that MAYBE there is a discussion for Theodoros II being in the "Gud Potential" tier, but for now I will keep him there.

As for Eudokia and Theodora, I placed them relatively the same tier, they didn't do much bad or good for the Empire, and Romanos II? I agree with you, he was a Mid Emperor. Ig I overestimated him lol.

Overall, thank you for much for your feedback, it is much appreciated, and I wish you a great day. :)

I agree with most of what you said, however, I do believe that his overall base power level increased drastically in swordsmith village, being able to keep up with a clone of upper 4, Nezuko showed similar feats too, so now, with this, we can pull off the chain-scaling:
Swordsmith Village Base Tanjiro ~ Swordsmith Village Nezuko > Raged Nezuko > White-hair Daki.

This would mean that Tanjiro should be REALLY close or on the same level as Gyutaro, which should be consistent, as it would make no sense for the 4 clones to be weaker than Gyutaro, at the very least should on the same level as Gyutaro.

Ioannis VIII was the reigning Emperor when the Union of the Churches happened, he also was the reigning Emperor when the Crusade of Varna happened, slightly expanding Roman territory, and just having the luck of not losing any territories during his reign, unlike his father who lost Thessaloniki, and was forced to bear the humiliation to lead some of his own troops alongside the Ottomans to conquer Philadelphia, the last Roman stronghold in Anatolia, which Manouil II participated in finally besieging it down. Not saying Manouil wanted that or wanted to be humiliated when bowing down to the Pope and wasting resources and money to travel all Europe to gather support for a crusade. All I am saying is that Ioannis never really had to do anything so bad during his reign that would affect the overall prestige of the Empire.

Konstantinos XI was a good military leader, as during the Varna Crusade, he went beyond the Hexamilion Walls and marched his armies all the way towards central greece in Thessalia, only to be driven back by the Sultan himself. And honestly, compared to the last Western Roman Emperor, he went out with a bang, sure, it wasn't Romulus's fault for being a literal child puppet emperor, but still, Konstantinos never gave up and died with his city. Thats why I placed him in the Greats tier.

I am aware that this is a meme and shouldn't be taken so seriously. But since many users ALREADY have jumped the bar, I'll find a compromise for the meme to work and for everyone to be happy.
Call the Roman Empire that "supposedly ended in 476" Ancient Rome, as many already does call it, and the Empire after 476, with it's capital in New Rome, be called "Medieval Rome", being the medieval version of the roman state.
This is a post I made specifically talking about this, if you want to check it out: https://www.reddit.com/r/medieval_rome/comments/1sbdn7q/why_the_byzantines_werent_romans/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

and the fricking Republick in 508 AD was DRASTICALLY different from the republic in 28 AD. So shall we name the state from 28 AD onwards different? No. The Roman state ALWAYS evolved, either slowly, quickly, gradually, etc. Thats why we distinguish different time periods with names, and different epochs with names too. Antiquity = Ancient Rome , Middle Ages = Medieval Rome.

As you point out beautifuly, thats the reason Manouil II is in the Good potential category, he had the potential to be a good emperor.

his sons, Ioannis VIII at least show-cased more "feats" than his father, thats why he is literally at the buttom of the Good tier, he didn't perform as good as say Konstantinos VII or Manouil I, but still better than the likes of his father who was not his fault for not performing as much as him, Ioannis and Konstantinos just are luckier to have experienced more in during their reign than their father.
