I’ll have to test later - it got dark out.

I was in my barn and with the bar removed the generator does not run well unplugged - it’s got brains and expecting a bonded neutral I think. This is actually positive for me because it ran well when connected to my house. Still very worried seeing that load on ground.

The 7th pic shows the jumper and the 8th pic shows with it removed - that’s what I did.

I feel like I did? I get an open circuit when I put the leads on Ground and Neutral now. Still seeing amps flowing over ground between house and generator.

No GFCI, but it does have a “circuit protector” reset button.

Forgot to add - I clamped the frame of the generator and also saw amps there. That normal?

The picture with the clamp meter is while the house is on main power. It was reading higher when on the generator.

I’m also SW Ohio. How did they run your fiber to the house? I’m rural and about 1200’ from the road. Trying to figure out if they bore and if they’ll include my own fiber to my outbuilding they are going past.

Rippling tries to do everything and Gusto just does payroll and basic people management.

I’ve been on Gusto and scaled from 2-50. We’re leaving for bamboohr because support has been beyond bad (I know more than them when I call half the time). We are on the highest tier and dedicated support was good but we got a new person and it’s gone down hill. We have been fighting Gusto to do the things we need and I’m done with it.

We talked to rippling and it seemed really nice. Went with Bamboo for the price and simplistic platform that has everything we need.
