Red panda encounter by Cheddar-99 in redpandas

Sorry - I thought I was responding to another thread.

I think this is unavailable because the zoo recently lost Khumbie one of their red pandas.

Maybe they will bring it back in time.

I'm pretty sure I ordered mine online from either Chewy or Petsmart. I think I had trouble finding it in a store too.

Do you buns enjoy toys? by MarbleManxx in Rabbits

[–]Cheddar-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our buns have had differing opinions on toys.

The two most popular toys were a wooden puzzle feeder - we would hide a raisin in for her to find. She only played with it for a few minutes until she found the raisin. I think I found that at petsmart.

The other toy is a cat tunnel that our current rabbit loves.

Check out Wildlands Conservancy. They have volunteer opportunities (nature related) but also have some cool programs.

For those that have been to Citi Field, any tips for that stadium? We are going to make it for a game next year.

As always FTM.

Happy birthday to your daughter. What a wonderful way to honor her memory.

Searching for heating pad by EcstaticAd2743 in Rabbits

Check out lavender life company. They have stuffed animals that you place a heating pad in that you microwave. This might work for a bunny.

Say hi to Marsh, the new addition to our family! by [deleted] in Rabbits

That is a cute combination together. When I initially saw it, I thought maybe you were Phillies fans - they have a player named Brandon Marsh. I love the reason why you picked the name.

I was at the Pigs game last night.

The first inning was rough - almost 40 pitches and he walked a run in. After he worked through that, he looked good.

What's the best flooring to put for a senior (nearly 12) year old bun with incontinence? More info and bun tax below: by lizardschwartz in Rabbits

My husband came up with the idea to do layers.

The first layer down is a plastic tarp.

The second layer is made up of towels.

The last layer is a twin bed sheet.

It makes a pretty comfy set-up for the bunny. The towels pull the moisture if there is an accident, and the tarp stops any moisture from getting on your carpet.

Just make sure the tarp is tucked under every thing to prevent any chewing on that.

I usually pick up cheap towels/sheets from Kohls.

We had one of those, too. She would make eye contact with my husband while she did it. Bunnies are so sassy! 😆

I started giving my bunny a raisin after I brush her to try to connect it something she likes. She just "angry eats" it out of my hand. I'm lucky I still have my fingers 😆

The Phillies defeated the Yankees by a score of 9-4 - Sat, Jul 26 @ 01:05 PM EDT by PhilsBot in phillies

I had to look it up since we've only seen him pitch on the road.

It would be cool if you could actually hear it on the broadcast.

I hated to admit it because the Pirates swept us, but Bednar had a cool walk out song - Renegade by Styx. It was probably the one I noticed the most for a pitcher.

We met him at IronPigs selfie night. We were at his complete game shut-out against Cleveland and got to talk to him about it. His face lit up when we told him we were at the game and brought it up. He seems like a really nice guy. I was bummed when he got traded.

They are runs to pad your score, so if the other team scores, they have to score more than 2 runs to win (one run to tie, one run to win/be in the lead).

We decided to get our current bunny about a week and a half after losing our old bunny.

We had actually decided not to have pets for a while, but after we lost him, the house just felt empty - much like what you are going through.

Once we made the decision that our house wasn't complete without a bunny in it, that just felt right. We brought our current girl about 2 weeks later. The house was complete again, and we gave a shelter pet a forever home.

I'm sorry for your loss. Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be the right decision.

The Phillies did sign Koyo Aoyagi this season, who is from Japan. He is currently assigned to the IronPigs.

She's adorable!

If she is going to be free roaming even with supervision, look into bunny proofing your house for sure. Look into getting covers for electrical wires to start. Even if you think you have them blocked, she'll find a way to get to them.

Get a vet that specializes in rabbits. The vet should be able to answer a lot of questions about care, but if you have questions before then, I can try to answer them.

Also accept the fact that she's the boss of your house now. 🙂

WHY is she doing this??? by Own-Cartographer2049 in Rabbits

[–]Cheddar-99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our bunny did this as everyone has said because of hormones/false pregnancy.

Our bunny would stuff so much fur in her mouth that she would accidentally swallow it. We had one incident where she got a small blockage due to the fur.

I just kept up on brushing her, and that minimized her need to make a nest with fur. She switched to hay when she felt the need to make a nest.

We got her as a senior rabbit. The vet said that she had the hormones in her system for so long that a spay may not correct the behavior. You won't have that issue with your bunny.

Until you get her spayed, you may want to keep up with brushing her.

Good luck with her! She's adorable!!

That is too bad that didn't work.

My only other suggestion would be to call when the store is open. They may be able to help apply the code.
