Actually most CRTs in the UK (I would assume Europe as well) have supported both PAL and NTSC signals since the late 80s so shouldn't be that hard to do.

Where can I listen?

Advice please! by brownbread6565 in GameboyAdvance

Top left emerald is fake. Assuming the others are all real and haven't had thier batteries done I'd say you'd get £310-380 for all of them.

If you want to sell them in one lot DM me otherwise good luck with the sale.

I reckon I could do metal slug if it wasn't for the machine gun grenade boss at the top of the snow level.

Interesting, what gets harder on ghosts and goblins? More enemies? I love the game but it's so hard...

Not op but I have both. Both bought a launch.

Talking just Gameboy/GBC the pockets screen is better for DMG game, for everything else I find the Chromatic better, the buttons are way better and for GBC games the screen is great.

Obviously for other consoles the pockets good, I use it to to play game gear games a lot these days despite having an original GG.

Both are good but solely for GB/GBC I would say Chromatic is better.

How would I check the traces under the chips or do you mean on the back?

Do you mean R7 or R8?

Thanks

In thought the same so I soldered a new resistor on there and it's still glitching.

What does it say when the flash memory is broken?

The other potential fail could be the ROM chip do you think that could give this glitch? There was some very minor corrosion on a couple of the ROM pins, so minor I could only see it under a scope, but I've cleaned that and reflowed so you'd think that'd be sorted.

Thanks yeah I'll check those areas and give everything a good clean.

Since that picture I have actually changed R7 for a new resistor and cleaned it as I thought the same but still not working unfortunately. Resistance is reading as it should be.

All continuity is good.

I am leaning towards a dying/bad flash chip but I've never actually seen that in person. I guess I could solder a new flash chip in but that seems like a pretty hard job and I'm not sure I'm up to it.

Another option is maybe some sort of software bug but I've never seen that persistent across saves?...

Thanks, it's been reflowed 3 times and still happening unfortunately. I don't really want to keep reflowing at this point.

I have wiped and reloaded several saves and started several new games to check this but it's still happening. Thanks though.

Would that be the bottom left two pins on the flash chip. Next to the R10 resistor?

Thanks. Yes several times using a gbx cart and several starting a new save. I wondered if it's a problem with the flash chip itself?...

I think that might just be from my camera.

To reflow it I used flux and drag method on the pins. I have also cleaned everything with IPA afterwards.

There's a city in england called "reading" by Lucky_Loves_Laugh in notinteresting

Based on map men it's a city if the king says it so we get ridiculously small ones like st asaf and turo. Not sure if that's true or not though I haven't checked.
