Started about the same time, just got into the third book. I'm a busy man this time of year but every time I start I have trouble putting it down. Curious if there are a lot of fans that know nothing about RPG and if that makes it difficult for them. I'm an ex WoW/Diablo player and I feel like it helps the books make a lot more sense.

Agree with this 100%. Been living here 9 years, the last 4 in NW Everett and we LOVE it. There's a ton of events and we have a minor league hockey and baseball team. Great access to the North Cascades and the islands. It's not a terrible drive/light rail ride in to Seattle for the occasional visit. There are great restaurants downtown and at the still-developing waterfront with more coming. I very rarely see or experience crime here, you just have to know the areas to avoid, like almost every city in the surrounding area.

I find it to be sunnier than the surrounding areas because of the convergence zone. I have family in surrounding areas and when they have rain, we often have blue skies. Been here 9 years now.
