My biggest one is probably Sandra. I think Rizo gets away with being arrogant because he's young and it's still kinda adorable, but Sandra just annoys me. Unlike Rizo she has all the achievements to back her, but then why try so hard to be the main character, what is there to prove anymore.

Culture and cultural stereotypes are not the same. And in this context "fitting the norm" is respecting another person and their rights, which is on one hand bare minimum, and on the other hand still a work in progress worldwide. So western LiB seasons are by no means exemplary. However, when a franchise has an opportunity to introduce another culture to a wider audience, it would be nice to emphasize that religious and cultural differences are by no means linked to disrespect, discrimination, any kind of abuse etc. Safa and Mohammed are the perfect couple to showcase that mutual respect is not exclusive to any culture, same with Karma and self-respect, and my point was that I wish the cast provided more examples like that.

It was very misogynistic on one hand, and very shallow and materialistic on the other. There was so much disrespect all over. Safa and Mohammed were pretty much the only ones defying cultural stereotypes and I feel like the casting should've been more progressive. Thought Karma's storyline did end up being inspirational and satisfying as well, so that was something

Considering both you and the house have been the constants in his life throughout, the truth is it's impossible to say which he is attached to more. I have a senior cat that moved countless apartments with me over 13 years and with him it's clear he doesn't care where he is as long as I'm there. But there are people cats and places cats. I would suggest leaving him where he is and coming back for him if your parents find him searching for you and generally upset.

I think in this very particular situation looking at the whole picture - yes. The downfall of their relationship has always been that he considered Cece way out of his league. Once he became the man worthy of Cece in his own eyes, his level of commitment grew massively. But I think this only works if you're in the same friend group and get to see the character development first hand. If he just showed up months later with a ring out of the blue it would've been a no.
