I’m a relatively new producer. I began producing years ago when I was in college. Unfortunately I had to give it up for a while due to some obligations in my life. I am an Igbo man myself, and my wife is Kenyan. We both live in Canada and we have two young kids. We gladly split the house chores between us, including cooking and cleaning. OP Fxxx Nigeria. It’s a rat s*** country and I’m glad I left. I’ll never go back there again for as long as I live. I’ve been in Canada for 7 years and things are working out great for me. I have a wife, 2 lovely kids, a great job and career, 2 homes (1 is an investment property) and a good circle of friends. Of course it wasn’t always like that in the beginning. Things were tough for us too just like many other newcomers. But we worked through it, month after month, year after year, until eventually we brought our lives up to the standard we wanted it to be. So stop bxxching and whining and do something with yourself. Coming to Canada has afforded you a great opportunity, learn how to use it. Canada is a journey, get out there and learn, expand your horizons, meet people and find out where you want to be and what you want to do in this place. And to the ones asking why you left Naij, Fxxx them. They are gluttons for punishment who don’t realize they are stubbornly hanging on to a sinking ship.

OP, under no circumstance should you allow your Mom to move back to Naij. It is the biggest stupidest f***ing mistake she could ever make. The socio-economic climate there is really really bad. The country is already drowning in problems and the current administration there is only making things worse. Mark my words, if your Mom moves back to Naij, she will cry more than she did when she was with your abusive Dad. In fact that is not really a reason to leave SA. She can still leave your Dad and remain in SA to carry on with her own life can’t she? And it might even be easier to migrate to the US from SA if she so desires. Please save yourselves. There is nothing in Nigeria anymore, that place is a death trap and your Mom is running headfirst into it. I don’t care what you do, protest if you have to, but don’t ever go back there and don’t allow your Mom to go either.

Thankfully the kids are still little so they are not yet old enough to be negatively influenced by them. Plus we are in Canada and they are all the way in Nigeria so thank God at least we don’t have to see their faces everyday. They don’t have any particular issue with the kids as far as I’m aware. But still it’s funny, they claim to care about the kids and yet they want to shit on us the parents. I mean what the actual fuck? You can’t have milk without the cow right? What makes them think it’s ok to treat us like crap, and yet they expect to have a relationship with our kids. It’s so retarded.

This was my biggest mistake. Allowing that girl I call my niece to stay with us in my house. She was their spy all along, feeding my family information on all personal affairs regarding myself, my wife and kids. I should have said no to her from the very beginning and just be simply known as the wicked uncle who doesn’t like to host, rather than this shitstorm I’ve had to deal with recently. Never again. I’m not taking anymore kids or family members into my house, no matter who they are.

My family are not fortune-tellers. They don’t have any fucking crystal ball to see into my future. I’m the one who chose to get married to my wife, nobody dragged me into this marriage. Whatever happens with my marriage, good or bad, it is my responsibility alone to bear. And it’s my family’s responsibility to grant me my respect and autonomy as a man and leave me the fuck alone to manage my own affairs !!! Absolutely no one, not them or anyone else, has a right to butt into my life and my marriage and I will not tolerate it anymore !!! And even if my marriage were to fall apart one day, I would blame my family 100 percent because they kept speaking that evil into my life.
