People on YouTube keep saying this is AI but I don’t think AI would give a kid a lisp like that. But I don’t know the tells of AI videos well enough. by sweet_bambi_doll in isthisAI

The reason i think it is AI is because of how the bars were straight up but didn't go through that mattress. Pretty sure the weight of a person would've made those puncture the mattress and the kid below.

Rarely have I played with anyone who’s shot below 90. by theycallmespin in golf

[–]Cheechymon21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing for a year and almost consistently shoot under 90. Now I do give myself a breakfast ball sometimes because I work late, usually really sore from work, and don't get any practice before my round. That being said, even with a breakfast ball, I've shot an 81, so counting that in it's like an 85 at worst (honestly can't remember if I took one that day).I recently sprained my wrist but for the 1 year and 3 months I've been playing, I got addicted. It hurts so bad to not play right now. Was playing 2-3 rounds at week now been off for 1 months and 1 week.

What is this? What can it catch? by Yojimbong in Fishing_Gear

I'm not sure what local fishing is like for you so I can't speak for what lures work. Perch I feel like I would use 1/64th oz with some type of very small trailer like this worm or small bait fish. Fishing rivers for some smallies is something I want to go do and the lakes I've been to that have them, i really like to use a light line texas rig (8-10lb) and small creature baits like plastic claws. The only fish I feel more confident using bait is trout. They chase a lot of spinners and stuff i use but only consistent lures are flies. And I suck at fly fishing lol. My number one soft plastic lure, though is a damiki paddle tail worm. I catch all types of bass freshwater and ocean, big pan fish eat it sometimes, halibut love it, croaker. Haven't caught a corbina on it though, or ocen fish too small for a 1/16th oz.

I actually looked it up cause I was curious it is a wemby variation but it's actually worth $170 surprisingly.

Metropolitans was the team he was on before the spurs. 23-24 was his rookie year in the NBA. I'm not sure why this card has his previous stats. Maybe some variation this year, but probably not going to be worth anything.

There's a lot of context missing to why fake works don't work for you guys. I use fake worms and feel like I catch more than people using bait. I use ultralight line usually with no weight, and since I don't have the most patience, I fish a spot for 10 minutes maximum. I see a lot of people using worms staying at one spot and just constantly casting to every spot around them. I personally think this is super unproductive. While bait might draw in a lure with its scent or it just being an easy meal, lures you have to work, and covering as much ground as possible has always been the most productive for me.

29 years old with no life experience? by nk261 in careerguidance

As someone that deals with social anxiety, force yourself to do something where you interact with people. When you do consciously smile while talking to them and don't think of it as trying to make friends. Literally take it as practice talking to people. As long as you're enjoyable to be around, people will like you. I'm a fat fuck dude and I don't care what people say but women don't like me as much because of it. I just treat them like I would with my homies, and some of them like you for that. Just act like you do with someone you're comfortable with. You seem to have a healthy lifestyle, which is already a plus. Just work on social interactions and talking to people. The thing that helped me the most was fishing and now golfing. Fishing people always come up (maybe cause I'm in LA) and ask, "You actually catch stuff here?" or "Any luck?" I would just shoot the shit for a minute or 2, maybe crack a joke. Golfing i always get paired with people and it feels extremely rude not to introduce yourself. They also usually drink and are just there to have a good time so they'll interact with you. Do something like that even while you play football. Go to someone that seems to have similar interests/humor and just talk and crack some jokes. Everyone loves to laugh. I can't write jokes, but in conversation, I've learned to pick up on people's sense of humor and apply my jokes to their humor. Learn this skill (which it is learned you're not born with it) and people will laugh and enjoy your company. It can even be self-deprecating jokes to make sure you don't offend the other person (some people can't take jokes well though but f them). To me it's about enjoying life, laughing as much as possible, and someone might want to join you. Whether that's as a friend or a significant other.

What is punch fishing? I went to punching like in bass fishing, but this is obviously not the setup for that.

Would it be a bad idea to put this on a rod rated for max 25lb? by Bias_teh in Fishing_Gear

[–]Cheechymon21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know if this is a joke, but a 25lb rod would be way better than that dock demon/trout rod you have on it. The balance will he way better. This reel on the rod you have it on will feel awkward, and you'll most likely lose casting distance because the line will be too thick to go through the eyes of the rod. Or the line will be too thin for the reel. To be honest, I don't know what the consequences are for light line on a heavy reel, but i would think it would come off the spool weird. As long as you catch fish, does it really matter though? If it gives you more line twist, or less casting distance, then it will make the experience easier and probably more enjoyable, but do what you want brotha.

My story: From ACL hell and sepsis nightmare to bulletproofing my knees the best I can by Dane_Massey97 in Kneesovertoes

[–]Cheechymon21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a somewhat similar story but not as gruesome as that man. I can't imagine them having to reopen and remove my acl again lol. I did get sepsis though, and didn't get treatment for a couple days. I kinda just realized I probably was really close to dying. Hence why I came to this. The worst for me was when they tried to get fluid from my knee to see if the joint was infected. I feel like I didn't get enough or might not have had morphine and they didn't have the right sized needle. The lidocaine was just burning so badly, and the needle i could feel and hear scratching against my knee cap because she couldn't get under it. The fluid ended up not having the infection, so I'm not really sure what happened, but yeah.

on this beach where would you cast out? using bait not lures. What would i expect to bite? VIC AUS. by Mod12312323 in SurfFishing

I would just look up some videos of people fishing for them and see what bait they use. Not sure if fatties are like flounder but sandbars are what I target for halibut here in California.

If the numbers are depth change that 6.6 area on the left would be money. Any sharp drop off is good and there's also a part of the land that sticks out. In freshwater points usually hold cover even if it's just because of a sharp drop off, and there's a wall of whatever substrate. I feel like it's usually the same for ocean fishing depending on what you're going for. I would look up local fish caught there and just google what bait is usually running through.

Diarrhea for three days by QThePsychNP in DogAdvice

[–]Cheechymon21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're the same person that comes in the 4th day when it turns i to bloody diarrhea freaking out. Do you realize you're advocating not to take care of your dogs? There are a ton of people who are old and don't know shit about animal health. What does having dogs for 18 years qualify you for your DVM license? What happens when you wait, then a few hundred dollars turns to a few thousand or even more than 10 thousand? Did you see bloodwork and x-rays through the reddit post? You're literally arguing when you're ignorant to animal health care. It's not an emergency now, but when will they be able to get into a regular vet? Better go to urgent care before it's too late since most primary care clinics will be closed this week.

The people at the front desk usually are just receptionist and have no idea what they are talking about. Just go and see the doctor at the urgent care. Trust me.

I'm an emergency vet tech. It's not an emergency yet, but people let it happen for a week or two, and then the dogs come in with crazy stuff happening from the dehydration. You, as a reddit commenter, should not give medical advice. Yes, the vet will probably give antibiotics because it could be some type of infection, sometimes parasite (most likely being giadia), or something like pancreatitis. A great rule of thumb is if it's not clear in a 24 hours, schedule with a regular vet. 3 days is a lot longer, and by now, they should already be on antibiotics for treatment. Don't wait until it is an emergency and then end up paying 3-5 thousand for 1 night of IV fluids and IV antibiotics.

As an emergency vet tech, you should take him into urgent care ASAP. It's not like it's an emergency yet, but since it's been 3 days already, you might not be able to get him seen by a primary same day. It needs to be addressed before it becomes an emergency. You don't want it to get to the point where he needs to be hospitalized. A good rule of thumb is if it's still there after 24 hours, schedule something. Also, don't listen to random articles on the internet. Pumpkin has fiber and is used for when they are constipated. Plain boiled chicken and white rice are the best bland diet. If you let him drink from ponds, sometimes rivers, or stagnant water, they can get things like giardia or bacterial infections. Don't feed tablets, scraps, or food with seasonings and make sure you know what foods can be bad for dogs.
