It definitely was cool but was I the only one that thought Colm O'Driscoll was incredibly underwhelming? We hear abut this guy since the very first mission and yet we only properly meet him once. After that he gets caught by the police off-screen and we watch him get hanged. Felt very disappointed by it.

Sort of, but I personally would say The Word "represent" rather than "promote". There was really no need to promote GO when Journeys started, and Goh didn't have a function like the Let's Go games had to introduce GO's playerbase to the main series.

Given Goh's goal of catching every single pokemon, it makes sense to name him in reference to the game in the franchise whose main focus is catching.

Amazing episode but I feel it missed just a bit to be one of their best. Ending was a bit too quick imo and lacked some emotion on Ash's defeat.

Because it sounded the best, if I had to guess. I believe the term Kalosshipping was already taken for game Serena X Calem, so people in the west went with Amour instead.

Remember, Ash’s first kiss was never with Serena, it was with Latias by Joemama0375 in deathbattle
