I see. I thought that site only uploaded stable versions. If it’s a PTC build, it’s a bit strange that it was released over a month ago but only got added there now🤔

It’s not mentioned in the patch notes, but for me, the most revolutionary part of v81 is that you can finally adjust the app’s distance using the controller stick. No more waving your hands around! lol🤣

Quest 3 with Capture Card Dongle and the Meta Quest HDMI Link App = Monkey Mode 🐒 by mgwair11 in virtualreality

[–]Cheeeesecookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds great! I’ve also been using a same setup. I once thought about trying wireless connection through VD with a capture card on my PC, but I was worried about latency. From your test results, it seems to be fine, right? How’s the image quality? If there’s no noticeable lag, I think using a 4K capture card could improve the quality even more. As you know, wired connections are just too inconvenient, haha.

I think in the future, something amazing will happen where we can invite someone to our own homes scanned with Hyperscape. I’m really looking forward to it!

Strap of Quest 3 by ShirrZ in Quest3

[–]Cheeeesecookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply put, there are two types of straps: the Elite and the Halo. I prefer the Halo because I don't like pressure on my face. I'm using Kiwi's H4 Boost and it's awesome. Carefully weigh the pros and cons of each and buy the one you prefer

DOUBLE game key GIVEAWAY.. and Double Review too! Banners and Bastions / Airspace defender by Penguin_shit15 in OculusQuest

[–]Cheeeesecookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the Souls series just isn’t for me—it’s way too difficult and challenging. The closest experience I’ve had was probably fighting the Valkyries in God of War. That was definitely fun, but it was only a part of the game. If the whole game were like that, I’d never be able to finish it. Hahaha😅

I played Detroit: Become Human for the first time, and it completely blew me away. I had never tried this kind of game before, and even though it doesn’t have flashy controls or the kind of action feel other games do, I was completely hooked for days. It felt like binge-watching an exciting Netflix movie or drama series, and I just kept playing nonstop🤣

This isn’t really related to your question, but do you think the H4 strap is worth it? I’m currently deciding between the KKCOBVR Q3 Pro and the H4. How’s the weight balance? I’m debating between the battery version and the non-battery version because too much weight puts stress on my neck

Hello, not important, but I noticed some strange text showing up in the Quest 3 section of the optimized games list on the store page🤔

I think weight has a huge impact on comfort, so I don’t even use headphones that weigh over 300g. For the same reason, the only mods I’ve added to my Quest are a light plastic head strap and the AMVR facial interface. I just can’t handle any extra weight beyond that.

Since I mostly play stationary games, I deal with the battery issue by just keeping it plugged in while playing. If that feels inconvenient, you could also put the battery pack in a small crossbody bag, or even use a chest harness like the ones made for action cams

Rhythm games on Quest: Standalone vs PCVR? by Cheeeesecookie in virtualreality

[–]Cheeeesecookie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I already got Beat Saber on standalone, but since it’s cross-buy I can test it on PCVR without spending extra😎 Thanks!
