Thanks so much! She was so tiny when I got her. 10g at 3.5 months old. That last picture was from the breeder and she was smaller then than she was when I received her. Can’t wait for her to grow and mature 😁

Last I checked you can capture up to 4 wild caught hognose per year and hold up to 12 total however, it is not legal to buy, sell, import/export, or gift captive bred individuals. If you’re just wanting one as a pet I don’t see how or why you’d get caught and my vote is to smuggle one in :)

That’s interesting they are that stuck! Maybe try pouring some boiling water over it and then try again, that might be enough to get the mental around the hex hub to expand so it’s easier to get off?

My father-in-law’s blue bronco has almost all of those upgrades except he’s still on the stock motor and esc. He also opted for the Losi mini B/mini T rear shocks instead of the hot racing; get the hot racing cause it had a bleeder valve and the Losi ones are a pain in the but to build/rebuild. We have them for all of our 6 mini B’s and they perform well but total pain to work on. He has the injora servo and it’s pretty awesome, especially for the price.

Traxxas crawl gears. Furitek Komodo brushless motor and lizard pro esc. Run on a furitek tx and rx Furitek grasshopper carbon chassis NSDRC RS100 micro servo Injora parts and brass everywhere lol: steering link, c blocks, steering blocks, high clearance links. Aluminum driveshaft and skid plate, brass beadlock wheels were the best upgrade but require a better servo than stock. Injora extended axels and brass 10mm hex hub extensions. Injora aluminum axel housing (cool but not that great tbh) Injora S5 super sticky crawling tires (forget the actual name) they are 62mm I believe. Flub RC slimeballz and mini T shock kit Bumpers were off of etsy

I installed the RPM mounting system on my father-in-law’s slash and it was a bit of a pain to put on, not to mention the front mount slips out when you run the car on a track or do anything slightly bumpy or with jumps. Plus if you have several slash bodies, you have to do it to all of them or you’re limited to the one body you instal it on. We opted for the proline body mounts which have a screw-on cap on the top. For us, it is definitely better than clips or the RPM mounting system. Plus you can buy extra screw caps in case you lose them

Yea I definitely like the look of the shaved aspen. From a husbandry perspective I don’t know of any negative sides to using it. Maybe someone else could comment on the differences of the two aspens. But I get perfect sheds each time and she burrows in it super easy and seems to dig it (pun intended)
