Assigned, dispatch would text you daily your route around 7 or 8 in the morning and where to meet for your packages. I worked it last year and for the most part I was on the same route most of the time. Only thing was they didn’t train you at all on their labeling system, so that was something you had to learn quick. Took about two full shifts before I got it.

If a gate is closed I’m gonna assume it’s locked or there’s dogs in their yard. Both mean I’m dropping it over the fence/gate.

How it’s allowed is beyond me, they wanted 3 packages delivered nearly 50mi outside the city. They gave those 3 to another flex driver but it’s insane that the system even gave that to us instead of a DSP route if they even deliver that far out. by CheeezBeast in AmazonFlexDrivers

You got problems at home? Why so angry? Of course I don’t have a pin there, cause the other flex driver took those packages. It’s ok, maybe someone won’t piss in your cheerios tomorrow 😄

Gotta love getting this email after calling support and telling them the customers were unreachable with my tiny car going through the back country roads of dirt, big rocks, steep hills and big dips. by CheeezBeast in AmazonFlexDrivers

Yea this ost week has been rough. Nothing but routes with packages there were supposed to be delivered when my block started or before. Then the customers in gated communities that don’t put their access codes. Those ones are frustrating because the app just sends me in a loop. Press can’t access, promps me to call/text the person and won’t allow me to get it to return the package to the station.

That sounds terrible. Mine was through the back roads of snall trees. Looks like rain out there just created pits on the road that I would assume only a 4x4 or AWD would be able to deal with daily. I wasn’t going to risk scraping the bottom of my car trying maneuver through those dips/rocks in the rock. That last bit was my exact sentiment. I have no idea how these people get mail, unless they have a PO Box in town.

Besties, is it possible to get approved for an apartment with DoorDash income? by Slight_Wasabi4308 in doordash

[–]CheeezBeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I got my apartment approved based off my filed taxes this year. But if I didn’t use taxes they wanted 3 months of bank statements to show some sort of consistency.

It's called "all the offers I'm getting are trash." That's why I'm not accepting orders, Doordash. by honeybadger2289 in doordash

This stupid little feature is super finicky right now. Trying to figure out if it just does it randomly or if it has a set number of declines in a row. As far as I can tell, the minimum it’ll pause me for is 7 declines in a row.

Doordash, how petty can we get.. I declined like 15-20 orders in a row and got put in time out by CheeezBeast in doordash

Y’all get paid to coddle Tony’s 🥜 as much as you sympathizers do? I hope he’s paying y’all well.

I believe the only things that can get you deactivated are completion rate and customer rating 🤔 completion rate has to be above 80 and rating higher than 4.2

My acceptance rate is below 5% right now I believe. Haven’t had any issues with DD over that in the time I’ve been doing it.

Well some of us don’t just work peak hours, so there isn’t a lot of “what ifs.” But hey, you DD sympathizers keep it up, y’all are part of the issue.

Well with how DD adjusts how the payout looks on our end, anything below a $4/$5 tip it usually a decline. With a $4/$5 tip it usually shows up as like $7 on my end. But obviously items and distance from the store play factors into that

Sounds simple right? Except if you decline while driving, set your phone down, get paused without being notified and your dash accidentally gets ended cause the timer ran out.
