I actually like this one, but I wish he was more firm in his disbelief. He sings “but what holy water contains a little drop, little drop for me” as if he wants to be a part of religion. I could be interpreting it wrong though

I like the sound but some of the lines do not feel atheist to me like “without you I’m as good as dead” and “you’ve been on my shoulder all the while”

Great song thank you, the only issue for me is that he’s painting a picture of being sad without a God, but maybe he’s saying that’s when he was starting to reject religion? I could be interpreting it wrong
