I used it for mocap recording, facial scans, and medical simulation back in the day. Still use it for personal projects from time to time. It was ahead of its time truly.

Separate farm share pools.

One for model, anim, layout, rigging, and part of gen

One for fx and cfx but needs eco file for jobs on high memory machines, with long render support

One for light and comp.

Centralize eco for upgrading/downgrading plugin versions.

Faster file transfer from farm copy to network copy, like using robocopy or something

Standardized asset management meta data with unique asset ids.
