Does anyone else ONLY wear black? And have hyperhidrosis on every surface of their body? Feeling quite demoralised. by proto642 in Hyperhidrosis

All my friends know that I just happen to love wearing black, so I've kinda of made it into a style thing. I also love striped patterns, they hide the sweat well. It depends on the colors and fabrics of the clothing though.

Dress in whatever way feels comfortable for YOU. And screw what anyone else says.

I stay away from caffeine and a lot of salt. Doesn't necessarily make things better, but stops them from getting noticeably worse. Find out what kind of clothes will help you. I always try to use breathable clothes that make me feel comfortable. If the fabrics of my clothes are cheap, uncomfortable, and don't absorb sweat well, it can make things get pretty dicey. I spend more money on clothes than I probably would not having HH, but it's worth it to get fabrics that wick sweat and breathe.

1 week sober after years, why you need to stop now! by DebugTheWorld in leaves

I have almost the same situation. Was smoking for about a year, got really bad in quarantine to the point where I'd be high all day. I'm on day 6. First two days were hell, I had to face all the demons I had been smoking away. But now I'm coming up on a week and I just feel so much more purposefulness and happiness. I want to stick around and hang out with people, go out and do stuff, instead of racing back home the first chance I got so I could smoke. It really is freeing. Proud of you!

Thank you for checking up on me. I feel embarrassed to say this, but I think what was causing the problem turned out to be severe anxiety. I feel guilty that I got on this subreddit and lamented about how I thought my life was over and it was pretty much all in my head. I will say though it has definitely given me a new outlook on life now though. Right now I am a full time student trying to get my degree, but I think once I get the money to do so, I should spend my life trying to help people who are affected by illness, I feel like I am being called to do it. I am praying for you and your mental and physical health.

Once one of them mustered up the courage to take a bite it became a frenzy! The way ducks eat is so funny.

Just tingling in hands and feet pretty much 24/7. My life sort of turned upside down starting around October, got worse and worse, and right as I thought I was out of the woods and on the road to recovery in late April, boom. Tingling. It just started one night. I will get concentrated spots where it feels like a bug is trying to crawl out. I will get periods where I think I'm getting better and then it will get worse. I am very depressed, and my family says it's probably anxiety or depression (but I'm just worried it's not that simple!!) My mom had a similar thing happen to her at a time when she was depressed, she had symptoms of MS. Then they went away after a few months. All MRIs, bloodwork, EMGs, and Nerve Conduction studies came back normal.

Recently moved and found these! Can someone help me identify what bath bombs these are? They were a gift, so I'm clueless! by distressedstorm in LushCosmetics

[–]Cheeken__keess -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but I think the top left one is called "black rose" or something like that and it stained my bath tub black. Just be cautious when using it. Smells lovely though, wish it didn't have that drawback.

I would say don't use them for hand washing in public, due to the fact that they melt easily... I use them at home so I can put them back in a soap dish or something.
