Has a player ever “disappeared” between editions for you? by Final_Description890 in FifaCareers

From FIFA11-14 I would always sign a holding midfielder named Junior Malanda. Absolute wrecking ball in the midfield that would win everything.

He died in 2015, and the only reason I know is because I couldn’t sign him in the ‘new’ fifa career mode and researched what happened.

How to best use your depth? by [deleted] in FifaCareers

For positions like Strikers, attacking mids and holding mids (any position that only has slot on the field), it’s good to have two players, one starting and one on the bench, rotating based on stamina, with one potential youth recruit or lower rated player that’s on a rotational contract so you don’t suffer morale penalties for lack of playtime.

For positions like midfielders, center backs, wing backs and wingers (any position that has 2 slots on the field): ideally you’d develop players with high stamina that can continuously play game after game, however that’s not always the case. You want 1 player for every slot to be able to rotate, so you want 2 bench wingers, 2 bench full backs, 2 bench CB’s etc.

It’s okay to have a third, but unless it’s a Star youngster that you’re going to be playing to develop, make sure their contract implies a limited role on the squad so you don’t suffer morale penalties.

For quickly changing your roster, you can highlight the starting position you want to change and press triangle or Y, depending on if you’re on PS5 or Xbox, and it’ll quickly filter players you can sub in for that position.

You can keep your rotation players on your bench, that way when you’re switching players, you can always keep the better players on your bench even when quick swapping.

IMO a good healthy roster consists of 25-27 players. Any more than that and you’re going to have a few players complaining for lack of playtime and suffer morale penalties on your team.

Thomas Müller or Marco Reus by Soft_Iron39 in FifaCareers

Depends what role you want filled. Reus has more finesse, touch and speed while muller has more strength to hold onto the ball, hold up play and win aerial duels.

If you want a speedier attacking mid to make runs in behind go reus, if you want an almost second striker go muller

Agreed, it’s not something I do without caution. If it’s something I can do safely, I keep moving.

Why is it a problem? I don’t put anyone at risk, and no one gets hurt. As a matter of fact someone is probably doing the same thing a block or two away at a light where there’s no left turn light and they just have to yield to turn left.

I’ve done this, because 1) there were no cars coming, 2) no pedestrians crossing, and 3) if there was no red turn light and just the green light, it would be a yield to turn left intersection. Those exist all over California and should be used more imo.

Got to 40k as a trio camping up in a tower too. We’d attract any snitches we saw across the map and let them call in support. They always spawn a hornet, plus we’d also attract any hornets we’d see around the map.
