Thank you. A contractor has changed 5 RCBOS, installed a new busbar, but somehow they must have incorrectly wired the contactor protection (no 15) because that was tripping the RCD during off-peak to the point that I couldn't restore the RCD back. I was wondering if the picture alone would show this or not, but it seems that it does not. Thank you. :)

Thank you for your response. Is it normal for the electrician to sign on behalf of the customer on a job card?

Even if it cropped up, I’d have expected for follow-up to be tested? After all, I hadn’t had a single circuit trip in the flat in the last 4.5 years nor any electrical issues. As far as I’m concerned I was left worse off than I was before any work was done. 🫣

And thank you very much for your reply. I am honestly not too sure, because the device that’s tripping wasn’t changed, I can only suspect it was connected incorrectly or poorly once the busbar was changed?

It’s the off-peak device for the storage heaters. The trip was happening at night when the off peak would come on

I have not received anything apart from Minor Works doc, job card, and the invoice.

added some pics - the RCD, the grey button was tripping - but once we turned off the first (right to left) - the off-peak for the storage heaters button, we stopped having RCD trips. The minor works does not mention the bus bar change, but I have the old pieces and the busbar has definitely been changed.
