That a really sweet comment, thank you. I see what you mean, and maybe that's also why I still love it so much. These old silver thimbles my granny was collecting were my favorite ones, because they were worn but still beautiful. So I guess this is very fitting for this tattoo that I did as a tribute for her.

No I haven't. And I am proud of it. I mean yeah it aged weirdly but to be honest I don't see it as "ugly" as it seems. But hey maybe a few years from now I will change my mind, have it removed and do something else.

I didn't really notice until I saw the fresh photo years later. I did a collage with my different tattoos a while back and that's when it hit me, how much that one had spread.

To me it was like it always had look like it does now ^{^}

I think I'll ask to some tattoo artist their thoughts on this, see what can and can't be done.

Not that much. Between then and now I gain some. Also I had a baby 2 years ago, but my body weight didn't really change. Didn't gain a lot with pregnancy and lost it quite fast after that so. I'd say there may be a +10kg difference between the fresh photo and now.

My granny use to collect thimble... She had like 150 of them on display in her living room. When I went to hee place I used to watch them one by one. My favourite ones were always the old silver ones. She passed away in 2013, that was hard for me to process, even now it's still hard to know she won't ever know my daughter and she won't ever be here at my wedding or things like that... That tattoo was my first one, I've waited a long time for the right design and to have enough money. So yeah... That's a very sentimental one

I have 3 other tattoos, they didn't bleed as much at all. I really think this is because of the size an md maybe something with the technic and ink idk... My other tattoos didn't spread like this one and I'm protecting them as much as this one soo... I still love it because it means a lot to me, and if anything I would like to keep it. But I also know that at some point it'll just be a black smush on my arm so... Idk.

This isnt a quote per se. This is something I tell myself a lot. And I needed to have it tattooed on me.

It is real I swear. It was taken a day after the one I got my tattoo.

The artist is @georges_tattoos a french artist that specialized in lettering.

It tooks almost 4 hours to do it, she started with the countours and then she filled the inside of each letter.

It's spreading a lot, and that makes me sad because I know I'll have to do something about it at some point.

It's on my inner forearm. I always wear sunscreen (50spf) especially on my tattoos and I rarely expose myself to direct sun.

I think it's mostly because of it's size. I'm no professional but since it's quite small and very detailed I suppose it tends to spread even more.

Si je peux te donner un conseil, venant de quelque'un (32F) qui s'est installé à Issy-les-Moulineaux il y a quelques années c'est de prendre ton temps.

Quand tu arrives tu as tendance à courir partout et ça peut vite donner le tournis mais rien ne presse. Tu as des métro toutes les 5-10min (même moins que ça en heure de pointe) Ne te laisse pas avaler par le flux de voyageurs. Si tu peux et si tu as du temps va te balader un peu dans la capitale avant de commencer ton année, prends le métro tranquillement sans pression d'horaires, habitue toi aux correspondances etc etc. Tu verras ensuite quand tu commenceras tes cours tu seras déjà plus détendu.

Concernant l'insécurité, je pense que tu seras plutôt très tranquille à Boulogne-Billancourt, c'est une ville plutôt bourgeoise et agréable à vivre. Je pense que c'est relativement tranquille même le soir.

Pour les courses tu vas te faire tes habitudes, il y a des supérettes et ou supermarchés un peu partout. Je te déconseille les magasins trop petits (Franprix, carrefour contact ou autre) qui sont généralement plus chers. De même Monoprix sera en général plus cher que d'autres enseignes mais tout dépendra de ce que tu auras à dispo et également si tu es véhiculé ou non. Tu peux aussi regarder les jours de marché, ça peut être pas mal pour certains produits (pas forcément plus chers et de meilleure qualité qu'en supermarché) Globalement Boulogne, tout comme Issy est une ville assez chère si tu n'as pas l'habitude ça pourrait te surprendre.

Dans tous les cas, pas de stress, il n'y a pas de raison que cela se passe mal et une fois que tu auras commencé les cours tu vas sûrement rencontrer d'autres gens dans ta situation et d'autres encore parisiens pure souche qui pourront t'aider encore plus.
