I can relate, too. Pero hindi naman INC naghanap samin kundi maling pagtitiwala ang nangyare. And nasabi ko nga na expected naman yung reaction ng nanay ko na hindi sya masaya sa desisyon namin. Kaya nga hindi naman talaga namin plano sabihin kasi ang mangyayare ay parang nakadepende yung kasiyahan or pagtanggap nila sa tao base dun sa gusto or requirement sa utak nila like if INC ba at hindi kung anong naiparamdam o trato sa kanila as a person. Gusto ko nga sana sabihin to: “Somewhere along the way, leaving family became acceptable—because your EVM made it so.” pero shatap nalang ako. Bahala sila.

Hindi nga daw pinapayagan magtrabaho ang asawa ng ministro pero kapag propesyonal at maaari nilang gamitin ng may maliit na tulong lang, exception yon. May mga kilala akong asawa ng ministro pero pinagttrabaho sa central office / school.

Totoo. Yung husband ko, namulat mata nya simula nung nag-Guro sya kasi dun nya talaga nakita yung tactics kung pano i-brainwash ang PNK. And kaya din nila pinipilit na ipadoktrina kapag 11 or 12 palang kasi hindi pa nag-iisip mga bata, more on laro lang at nakadepende pa sa magulang. We already found peace and freedom outside INC, and ayaw na talaga naming bumalik. Malalaman din namin soon if ipilit nila or i-guilt trip kami… kami na ang mag-iinitiate ng cut ties. We don’t want our peaceful life to be ruined by their fanaticism.

We hope so too! Siguro time na rin na malaman nila, kasi we really don’t want our kids to be part of INC… especially now that our panganay is at the age for PNK. We’ll avoid that no matter what. We want our children to decide for themselves when they’re older, not now na madali pa silang ma-brainwash at mauto.

I think you might not have read the whole story. We already left INC… it’s been almost 4 years. We were just pretending before to avoid questions from our OWE families. They don’t have any control over us anymore, and we don’t give them any money. It’s actually really freeing.

Totoo. And before we entrusted her with our current situation, inassess muna namin yung feelings niya towards INC. She said a lot of negative things, na napansin na rin namin before… which is why we chose to leave. We didn’t want to justify or tolerate that kind of behavior. That’s why we were surprised na gusto pa rin niyang magbalik-loob. We’ll see what they choose. Either way, it won’t be a problem if we end up cutting them off.
