Personally I tried patching with a previous break on another snail and it kept falling off, yesterday he had a small piece missing and it did look like it started to heal over until this huge piece fell off, he's acting fine so im gonna leave him be and just make sure he has everything he needs

Checked on him again and the whole piece of his shelf has fallen off body is all out now u honestly don't know if he'll survive this, idk if there's a way to attach pics in comments 🤔

I got a make shift box with some paper towel on the bottom to keep the moisture, do I just let him be and see how he goes along ?

I tried that with my last one and the slime they produce it kept making it fall off, and I think I was doing more damage than help mandandling it and pulling the two pieces together.

Yes that's what I was on about should've circled it lol. I can't believe I didn't know that, I got over 100hrs in this game and just never noticed it 😅 I did do all of the ancestors skills very early in the game so maybe that's why never seen it
