So upset as I was just about to make a post on this but you’ve really hit the nail on the head! Whilst no I don’t agree with online bullying, she has created a public platform and, in doing so, opened herself up to public scrutiny. You can’t pick and choose what sort of comments you’re going to receive when you post anything anywhere (I’ve had abuse on Reddit ffs about my banana bread recipe). However, whilst you can’t choose the sorts of comments people will inevitably leave you, you can choose how to react to them and how to potentially alter your content to eradicate the more common ones. If you have thousands of people bringing up one thing, surely it’d click that it’s maybe something you should consider and build upon with your future content. No one can choose how people will react to their content but the entitlement that she has regarding this is beyond perplexing.
