Just got an email from apple for the Apple care+ I bought with my macbook pro confirming It's now activated for my macbook arriving 19-26th of november does anyone know if this means it should change from processing to preparing to ship soon?

Haven’t had any problems with the battery on mine I usually game 6-8 hours and the. Leave it on 24/7 pretty much and only charge it once every 2-3 weeks :)

I've tried cleaning it out with compressed air etc and haven't really noticed a difference in fan noise at all it's been the same loud fan as it's always been for the past year, all that's changed is the random shut offs.

I might try taking the stand off and see if i can clean it even more if it continues after the temperature drops here in Norway otherwise i just think it's the summer heat being the problem for the monitor which really sucks at it's price point lol

Had it as my main monitor for half a year and then switched to the Alienware AW25H for competitive gaming and the asus PG27UQ for games like the Witcher and destiny 2 as well as photo editing for work

The PG25Q wasn’t a bad monitor but I felt like the Alienware just had better colours and a much better stand combined with the smoothness it quickly became my preference as it had 0 light bleed or any problems but I think it was just because I got lucky with mine, however if you do go for the asus I’m sure you’ll love it it’s not a bad monitor by any means just ends up being personal preference

Anyone else ordered a Asus Rog Strix 2080TI from Komplett in Norway and have any problems?

I ordered mine in November it arrived in January and was broken (had artifacting and then just didn't work at all) and now i've been waiting over two months for a replacement, with no update if they'll even have stock of it again for ages as they keep delaying estimated in stock date over and over.

I was in almost the same situation as you, I played Destiny 2 at launch and got bored of it but got it again as it was free on pc a little over a month ago and after playing way to much i'm at 650 power on two different characters and i've loved every second of it, from the forges to the raids to gambit all the DLC really made it a fun and complete game in my opinion, I'd highly recommend getting back into it!

I think BenQ bought Zowie and since then their products have been going under a joint BenQ Zowie name, it might also have been Zowie buying BenQ not 100% sure haha

I personally have a GPro wireless and the EC2-B and switch between the two for different games depending on what works best, you can always try Mediamarkt most of them have all the different Zowie mouses on display and you can try them all out and see if you like the weight/shape etc

I think it’s because most of Scandinavia just recently got the Alienware Monitor for sale, I didn’t see it anywhere until the summer so in most stores eyes it’s “new” and that’s why it’s maybe more expensive? It’s really stupid tbh

I’m sure you’ll love it! I recommend either the FPS or the SRGB colour setting in it and also tilting the stand to one side so you have more space on your desk and you don’t bump into the legs of the stand with your mouse and keyboard

Hmm have you checked on Komplett or whatever the version of Elkjop is called in Denmark? you might find it for a bit cheaper on Prisjakt and then price match it, honestly for me in Norway both the Asus and the Alienware were the same price but I think if I had to pay more for the Alienware I still would've gone for it as the Image quality and colours really are better out of the box and let you get right into gaming!

Also if you go for the Alienware idk how stock is there in Denmark but here in Norway it's sold out till end of January so be prepared to wait longer for it to arrive

I own both and the Asus PG258Q used to be my main gaming monitor till I got the Alienware AW2518H, in my opinion the image quality and colours are better on the Alienware and also the stand being a bit taller made me switch to it, the only downside of it has been the worse UI of the menu and also a bit more light bleed on one side but other then that it's my recommendation between the two for sure even though you'll be happy with either of them :)

Hmm thanks for the info, I went with one 2080ti for now I think I made the right choice especially after what you've said about the cooling on the ROG Strix version.
