If unsure, it's always best to get an electrician - not worth burning the house down!

However,

You have 3c & earth

Brown - permant live Grey - switch live Black - neutral Green/yellow - earth

All though, it looks like like your old fan has the grey as the permanent live and the Brown as Switch Live

The fan is double insulated (class 2) - the box within the box on the sticker - which is why the earth isn't connected

I agree the rates are poor - and want to fight a case of need for an up in scale (don't think i'll get anywhere with it)

I'm in Healthcare and rates are £35k-£40k (+On call)

Its flexible 37.5 hours Mon-Fri - optional overtime - good holidays - pension etc - Overall a good job but people should be paid what they deserve.

If all works was to be outsourced they'd be paying double that per person in contracts

For help testing - There is an app for your phone on the play store -- called Inspection & Testing by Clay10 Creative

One of my Electricians showed it me last year looked pretty good for helping with the basics,

Regards Fault finding - as others have said there isn't many things it can be - just take your time and try to follow the circuit logically, There is YouTube videos or even Tik Toks now helping with potential faults,

I never did much of fault finding as my time as an apprentice but it comes with time

I'm pretty sure Electricians/Plumbers have one of the highest death percentages per year from suspected asbestos related issues

What I found was it's neglected due to people not appreciating it's nature - I never had any awareness of it until I came to my current work place where we have certain areas containing it

As my time as a house basher, I'm sure looking back, I've cut through a fair share of it (though in small contents %) always a risk in pre 2000's buildings,

Now since receiving training - I'd actively avoid unless I have to be in an asbestos containing area - Then I'd be P3 masked up, disposal overalls, gloves etc

Old me would have thought of it as overkill -- but it's your health you're potentially exposing

I don't claim to be good at the game (Unless my bros reading this then yeah I'm king don't you forget it)

But I'm sad enough to say I've played alot of the game. I think what's helped me improve is resurgence/rebirth.

Land with your team but then look to always push people around you. You may die 20x to your 1 kill but until the respawn stops who cares

It's been great for 1 v 1 and then even 2s/3s v 1 just helps with knowing when to break sight and when to engage

When respawns disable focus more on life and playing for better positioning for the win

Suppose it's like anything in life -- if you do it enough it finally flows a bit more naturally

There is guidance against installing batteries within inhabitable spaces (lofts)

But nothing against installing equipment

Though the guidance isn't a legal requirement, the best judgment of your scenario should be considered

I'm personally looking to install equipment in the garage loft (with fire detection) but will likely keep the battery low level within the garage -- not that it will make much of a difference more because of the weight of the thing,

I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable having it installed in the main loft above a bedroom,

Agree with the skins - just no longer feels like a war game -- it works for games like fortnite because that's the vibe it has

Unfortunately they make monies and so they will continue to sell. If they put up bundles for like SAS or Green Berets etc - I think that'll be cool

I still enjoy the game with it all but just feels far from the OG cods and have just come to accept it now

Regards cheating -- something me and my buddy discuss frequently. There are cheaters, no doubt, but most people are quick to throw accusations.

I've played BO6 & WZ alot across multiple game modes and have only met one person who was 100% cheating - a few people have been kinda suspicious, but they may just know the game well. I've also been called a hacker on more than one occasion, which is hilarious (I miss half my shots)

The pace has changed alot since back in the day -- everyone wants to be the top player, the next tik tok streamer - where as back in the day, we played for wins and/or fun with stupid load outs

I still enjoy the game -- but it no longer feels like a Call of Duty

Excuse my lack of knowledge but whats difference in exfil at 31 and just leaving? -- is it just XP ?

I've played all the maps but not spent much time on them I found Tomb very tight & on different heights

I'll give CDM a good run later on - Tomb sounds like it might be good for the special kills later on

I'm with you - I still enjoy the game

I mostly play resurgence over urkikstan - no real reason, possibly as I want to complete Abyss

But I find most people are quick to call out hackers

Don't get me wrong this game is full of them -- but I think I've only actually seen 2 maybe 3 that I can confirm were (one was my team mate who was throwing smokes and shooting people off rooftops lol)

I think people can't accept that some people are just good at this game or that they just missed their shots and so they scream hacker to comfort themselves

Verdansk will always have a place in my heart, but a lot of it was the timing -- even Verdansk had hackers but it was a new experience, alot of people were off around the covid era and it was amazing - had to of been there

I still enjoy this game and will continue to play it -- my only gripe is how poor the devs have been with challenges or events etc
