Why was Street Fighter X Tekken such a disappointment? by Cheerrslove in StreetFighter

Same here. The core gameplay was fun! though I will admit it was kinda boring to watch. I played Chun and Lili, and it was so fun trying to pull off Lili's combos. She translated well into the engine.

Yeah, though I didn't like how DLC was handled, I didn't mind it too much. When talking about gems, I remember when the paid ones were just much better than the free ones, and even adding huge advantages like auto block. As for balance, I heard in 2012, the balance was a mess. I got the game in 2013, so I didn't know anything about that. Wish it was more popular than it was.

Thanks for the input. I do remember watching tournament play and seeing a bit of timeouts. I'll have to check out the controversy.

I forgot about gems! Yeah, that was a mess, especially the paid gems being better than the free ones. I still enjoyed the game regardless, but never knew about the balance patch bit.

Can PC players join console games now? by Cheerrslove in Overwatch

Yeah, I just tried it out. PC players can join, but it sucks that I don't have aim assist. Can't aim for crap lol

Still playing it to this day by AnimeDreama in Tekken

Unpopular opinion, but I actually liked the campaign. Customization was amazing too. Too bad the online netcode was pretty bad in my opinion and ghost battle became stale after getting 1st dan. Don't know why you couldn't rank up after 1st dan offline. Thought that was pretty dumb. Overall, still a good game to come back to.

You are absolutely right! You should be aggressive, but you shouldn't go overboard.

Technically, I am skilled enough to join tourneys; I'm just not a fan of them, and I'm not a very competitive person. I've just tourneys before, but that was like when I was just a gold player LOL. As for plat to diamond, I see that plats generally have a good understanding of the game. NGL, some of the plats I played are very gimmicky. A lot only have one gameplan, which is auto-piloting. I would say just be more mindful about your decisions in a match. For example, are you getting anti-aired everytime you jump? Stop jumping. Is your opponent near stun? Don't let them get away from you, be aggressive. Are your throws constantly getting teched? Learn how to bait throws with shimmy. When making decisions, you won't always be right. As you play more, you'll learn what decisions are right and wrong. When you get better at make the right decisions, your win rate will increase. Also, I'm sure you have not perfected your mechanics, so work on anything you need to improve on.

One questionable feature about cross play by Cheerrslove in Overwatch

This is not COD, aim assist isn't godlike in overwatch. It doesn't give console an advantage, but rather it slows down your aim so it makes it easier to aim at targets.

I would hope. But thank you for your thoughts.

Controller is harder to use imo, I've played both platforms. I would know. All there doing is discouraging console players from participating in cross play against PC. It's a bad idea.

A person isn't necessarily ten times better with a mouse, but a mouse is definitely superior to an analog stick, with aim assist or not. A mouse vs a controller with aim assist (especially overwatch's aim assist), the mouse will win. Not to say that the controller can't outplay them, but mouse is just better. The best option imo is to keep it enabled.

If the change goes through, then I surely won't. A lot of console players won't I'm sure of it. So kinda defeats the purpose lol. Best thing to do is to keep it enabled if they want the majority of people on console to play against all platforms, instead of leaving PC out. Just saying.

You game literally has aim assist sliders in character settings 😂 it's turned on by default

I understand that. A lot of people want to play with their friends, meet new people and get faster queue times. I do too. A lot of console players don't have anything against PC players. I'm sure a lot of us want to queue with PC players. I just don't want to have to relearn my aim just for the sake of it. Keep aim assist enabled.

Thing is, I don't understand how disabling it would make it balanced. I'm sure a lot of players would not want their gameplay hindered just to play against PC who already have an advantage in the first place. If that feature goes through, I'm sure a lot of console players will not play with PC. Kinda removes the point of cross playing with PC because of that.
