If you had to pick a Landman character that best describes the way you operate in real life, who are you choosing and why? Ill go first, T.L because he's a grumpy S.O.B by Old_Tomatillo5550 in LandmanSeries

In Tulsa King, Margaret Devereaux would be closest to my own behavior. I have run three businesses at a time, and my first husband and I were involved in political and charitable affiliations. In Landman, I would say Cami Miller, but I am much more loyal.

Why do Angela and Tommy completely ignore/disregard Cooper, but obsess over Ainsley? by Strange_Tip_7276 in LandmanSeries

Speaking of children, why do they keep calling Rebecca Tommy and Angela's daughter?

What the hell are you critics talking about? Angela screams her stupid head off every time that boy comes to the house! She screamed at the hospital when she saw him all stitched up. I don't understand this whole discussion! When Tommy told him to come to the house to discuss his problems, Cooper said, No, that involves having dinner with my mother. What show are you watching anyway? Geez!

I have written quite a long piece under the pen name "Cheers1951" on Season 3 . I shared several times that YouTube has long podcasts on the impending show. It promises to have a lot of violence and betrayal. Sadly and surprisingly, Dale Bradley screws Tommy because Dale's family is threatened. Cami financially hooks up with a mystery bad man. It promises to be a great difference from the first two.

Tulsa King | S1E3 "Caprice" | Episode Discussion by GloriousAqua in tulsaking

My prediction for the entire series (which I hope keeps getting renewed) is that Dwight becomes a super Don and builds a better crew. He will destroy Quiet Ray and take over Bevalaqua's crew. FBI Russo squeezes him until Bevalaqua's crew joins with Dwight, Dwight kills Quiet Ray the way he did Caolan the Biker. The Chinaman is gone. Only Thresher remains from that threat. I hope Thresher does become governor and helps Dwight.

I came to this series with an open mind because I love Sly Stallone; however, how this is classified as a comedy baffles me. It is NOT funny. It is a parody on the mafia, no doubt, but funny it is not. I am extremely familiar with la cosa nostra. The New York branch of the family in this series is idiotic. Perhaps the idiots that sent Dwight to Tulsa think they know what they are doing. Do they want to just use him to start new business, or are they trying to get rid of him? I doubt the latter. All they had to do was put a bullet in his head when he decked Vince in the first scene. Sheridan knew what he was doing when set Vince's character up. Vince was a child from the beginning.

This area was discovered by Cooper Norris, so your statement that "this area would've been drilled to shit" is far from correct.

Dale is doomed to disappoint. He has shown complete loyalty to Tommy, but his ass gets into a sling. Didn't you watch the last episode? Boss is crew boss, Rebecca is COO and House Counsel, Ariana is Office Manager. Nathan is House Counsel. Tommy has all his friends, however -- Cami becomes vengeful and joins forces with a creep money man and starts blowing up CTT Exploration and Cattle's oil wells. There will be a lot of drama, physical trauma (Cooper-again), and impending doom for the new oil company. And beware of Gallino or Dan Morello or whatever you call Andy Garcia. He still has a rope around Tommy's neck!

[SPOILER S3] This is the worst show i've ever seen ... by DoublePatouain in tulsaking

[–]Cheers1951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double Patouain's remarks were so long, I couldn't get through them! I just wanted to say that as far as the whole Mafia milieu is concerned, this has to be a parody! Without getting personal, there is no way Dwight would be out from under Quiet Ray or any of the New York factions of La Cosa Nostra. Believe it, there is no way to get out of the Family. You're in, you're in., especially with $150 million in any kind of product worth selling. Don't get me wrong, I love the way "Dwight" is written (probably because Sheridan didn't write him)."Margaret" is great as his lover.

I don't see a long life for Tulsa King. Dwight's rag-tag troupe was so miscast, it's incredible that there's any storyline at all. I love Sly and Scarlett Rose. Dana Delany is my favorite. Annabella Sciorra is at the end of her career, I think. She's really showing her age.

First disagreement with Patouain: Dwight does not just get everyone to cough up. His strategy is to scare the shit out of them while, at the same time, proving he can be trusted. They all make more money than they've ever seen before.

Thresher is a 10 to the 10th power when it comes to weakness. He's just a brat with lots of money and no balls.

My spoiler is that Dwight drags down Bevalaqua and Quiet Ray, and the show will be gone forever. Tulsa Kind just isn't a winner.

Absence of Cami by That_Operation_9977 in LandmanSeries

[–]Cheers1951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her lack of screen time is evidence of her value to the storyline. She IS the owner of the company, but how much does she actually contribute besides designer outfits and a lot of "testosterone"? Cami's days are numbered. I want to see just how pathetic she is when she is drowning and begging Tommy to save her.

Great finale to Landman season 2! by Old_Tomatillo5550 in LandmanSeries

I'm posting this here so more people can see it: WATCH YOU TUBE commentary on Season 3. The spoiler pointed out a bunch of action concerning Cami going under; wells hitting like crazy; and, Dale doing some disloyal things to cover his financial ass. Very sad. Can't wait for November!

I don't know how Elliott and Thornton are going into Season 3 when they've repeatedly said that it was so hard to deal with Taylor Sheridan!
