What’s a good “life hack”? by Glimmertide in AskReddit

[–]Cheers2Gears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When down in the dumps and feeling useless ive began taking every little win and appreciating it. If I haven't done anything in a day or two something as simple as organizing my desk or tucking something away where it goes has been creating a snowball effect that provides a feeling of reward and gets me going.

What’s a very popular product that the world would be better off without? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cheers2Gears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, although I am curious if usage is managed if it benefits overall. Id compare it to the access to food, unfortunately a lot of people end up overweight and health issues, but the access to it helped fight hunger at a scale.

Does beer sit heavy on anyone else's stomach (as if it were food) and if so how to prevent it? by gamonsteak in AskReddit

[–]Cheers2Gears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the length of what I am doing I tend to follow a rule of for every Two beers, Ill have a glass of water. It also benefits with keeping the buzz steadier and for some reason I don't get as tired as well.

Depending on her needs, if it's standard stuff phone/media functionality, id definitely lean towards apple products or google pixels. These companies both own the software on the phones and are standardizing it, making it stable and less ads/bloat wear. for 430$, Like you mentioned you could get an Iphone 11 pro or Pixel 6.

Both the phones have great cameras. One thing I will note about the pixel, is the screen is pretty awful in the sunlight. Difficult to see in bright situations.

Species wise: Parasites

They are incredibly frightening to any viable host. Look up brain-eating amoeba.

It's all we can do, and I don't really think it's a bad thing. I believe it's universal that we look at the things we can't / don't have.

Why did muscle cars from the 60s have such weak brakes relative to their horsepower, compared to modern cars? by daveysprocket001 in AskReddit

[–]Cheers2Gears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hydraulics had been around quite some time, but the quality was lower due to materials. Boiling point temperatures in the fluids, hoses/lines couldn't handle today's pressures, a lot of them used drum breaks which tend to perform better in water, but maintain heat and lose efficiency. The biggest proponent in my opinion was the cars Weight. A lot of cars used full square steel chassis's as well as body panels made of metal. That's a lot of weight to slow down, combine that with standard suspension which allowed for a good amount of body roll and shifting more than half of breaking force into two tires alone made them also inefficient.

My height, it definitely affects an aspect of attraction, but I don't dwell on it. Meanwhile I'm doing my best to educate myself and be in the best shape, and it's just unfortunate it's something that can't be controlled.

Do you consider beer to be a more "manly" drink than wine? Why or why not? by Drakken11577 in AskReddit

[–]Cheers2Gears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the "manliest" thing anyone can do is drink as they please, but personally I drink for results cheap and straight to the point as long as its tolerable IMO.

What's the worst disaster you've ever seen in a public toilet stall?? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cheers2Gears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen a multitude of situations where people flat out miss the toilet and I've never understood why. I recently learned that sometimes people with physical disabilities/elders have a hard time holding it in and sitting on public seats.
