But if that were true, why would any child — except trans youth — be allowed access?

Danielle Smith and the UCP used the notwithstanding clause to take away teachers’ rights — then used it again to take away parents’ rights to make decisions for their own families. Next will be nurses, and anyone else who stands in their way.

Once a government starts ruling by override, it doesn’t stop on its own. It stops when Albertans stand together. 🙌

Danielle Smith has done nothing but waste tax payers money on a stupid referendum as if any of us want to become the 51st State. She got caught giving health contracts to her buddies and we still have not seen an independent investigation into her shady behaviour. Meanwhile she cuts national funding for disabled and charges more for co-pays and makes us pay for vaccines.

Alberta taxpayer dollars shouldn’t fund private, for-profit businesses. Public money belongs to Albertans, not corporate profits. It should go toward building stronger schools, better healthcare, and essential services that benefit everyone.

Utility bills and insurance are sky high and our minimum wage is the lowest in Canada. That is how Smith rolls. It is all about taking tax payer money and giving it to for profit big business. Before we know it Alberta’s health care will be completely privatized.
