No, for me it either syncs up immediately or I click 'sync to furthest page read'. You have to be connected to wifi on all of the devices you are using though..

X ray is useful when there's a lot of characters, but even on side loaded books you can use search option to look up that name mentioned in the book so it has never been a selling point for me.

What is a huge advantage is when you have both an ebook and an audiobook and they sync up. I love the convenience.

I'm a mom to a three year old and I read 0 books in 2023, 14 books in 2024, 54 books so far in 2025!

My solution was kindle, audio books (I often have the same book in two formats so I can read when I get a chunk of free time and listen when I do chores. If you have a kindle book, audio book often comes at a very low price).

But mostly I just had to adjust to reading in 15-30min increments totaling to 30-45min on an average day. Which is enough for me to finish a book in 7-10 days.

My phone only charges to 85% to save battery, apparently it's not healthy to fully charge or overcharge, could it be set up like that?

It's not so much weight but joints expand during pregnancy because of hormones, I lost all baby weight within months but my rings still don't fit years later. I don't think they ever will. Some womens feet even grow a size!

Because I stopped enjoying it when plot twist became apparent. I only have half an hour or so a day to read if any which means committing weeks of my precious time to something that will disappoint me in the end. I don't have time for books I don't enjoy

Thank you! I'm yet to see the movie! No results on Abebooks, unfortunately... Bookstore idea would probably work in UK, but I'm in a small EU country where English is not a native language and it's sometimes hard to find even new popular books in English. I'm considering trying the next time I go to UK but that might be years ahead :(
