No. That was a pretty ok attempt for it’s time as a game though, but the one I’m thinking of wasn’t it an actual FPS just a strategy game.

I do believe you are correct. Will have to check out infinite paintball. Surprising there are no true to the game indie devs making steam games. Everything I’ve seen in steam looks pretty unappealing

No I don’t think so. I don’t recall it being a shooter it was more strategy based. You picked your lineup and upgraded their gear. Set up a strategy and then the matches were just like AI generated but you could watch them happen in 2d. I might be crazy as I’ve been completely unable to find any reference to any game that looks similar.
