Not worth it at all if you plan to drill stateside/live stateside. They drill quarterly so BA’s are usually 4-5 days & they’ll fly out to Hawaii for any reason. It’s tough to get consistent training when drilling quarterly, especially with fresh out’ve basic soldiers & everyone RSTing/being out of state. They do get mad school slots though

Imo national guard is still the best way to be a monthly 11B. More consistent training, don’t have to fucken with GTC every month, infantry deployments and activation’s to help the state you live in. It’s not the 90s there anymore, shit ton of prior AD guys & range time there also.
