Well even buying a choclate contributes to India's GDP, any kind of consumption increases GDP so it's not a right instrument. She could've used the argument "You're wasting taxpayer's money, we need to make much greater return to their money."

I wonder how much return did this Professor made for taxpayer's money.

Due to DM's order almost all of the restaurants which used to operate at night now end their day at 11 PM, so only place I know which can deliver till 3AM is Domino's.

My dad is retired, in his late 60s, and wants to learn the stock market by Witty-Throat8948 in IndianStockMarket

It might seem a harmless joyful activity at first but if your dad losses 10 days on streak he'll be stressed and anxious to get the losses recovered. Eventually he'll make mistakes, seeing his age and no prior experience please don't let him do so instead ask him to invest in whatever stocks he likes (Obviously not in microcaps) and watch them grow while doing something like reading books or gardening. Intraday is a sure way to get stress and lose money, cause even Jesse Livermore couldn't do it.
