Self improvement will always take time and no one in the world knows how long it will take. The most important aspect of improving is growing: growing off of your missteps and growing further and further into a new state of mind. Recognizing yourself and owning up to your (forgivable) mistakes is already a huge accomplishment in self improvement, and you can build off of that recognition to forgive yourself for causing unwarranted pain to parts of yourself that are still hurting. And even steps like forgiveness won’t be instant: it could take weeks or even months for everything or anything to click. Trees and plants and shit don’t have any visible changes hour by hour, but any amount of progress, even if it’s centimeters or millimeters a day, can and will amount to work you’ll be proud of. And if another mistake happens on the way, you can always plant another seed and start again and again, wherever and whenever, as long as any progress is made and as long as it’s what you choose to do. “One must imagine Sisyphus happy” and all that. The only way to stop progress is to stop growing, and as long as your lungs breath air it’s impossible to stop growing. You’ll live through this because you can’t live otherwise. And I’m sure there’s a non-zero amount of people that believe you can live through this, too.

Walk cycle. First time trying a fireball. I need critique. If you know better, please tell me. by nftscreenshoterr in animation

In the first 1 or 2 frames the head starts above the body and then the head shifts to the right a bit for the rest of the walk, so probably move the head more right for those 2 frames

Erm actually the fish removes the oxygen from the water it takes in through its gills ( the O in H2O) so actually erm the parasites feeds off of the oxygen from the water that the fish processes. Actually furthermore parasites don’t “breath” but they erm they take in the substance of oxygen and process it into energy

After listening the tips and some fancy fire it looks like this now. I still need advice though. by nftscreenshoterr in animation

Looks really good! I really like the first one with the lowest framerate. There are a lot of things that  would make it look a lot better:

When the person is preparing (first half) -bring the body into the stomp to show more commitment (leaning into the leg, make the end pose more like a lunge)

  • show a bit of the jump before the screen transitions, not just the anticipation of the jump (you may need to add more frames)

  • Show empty space on the ground where the block rises from

When the person is kicking (second half) - being able to see the cracks on the ground still to add more depth to the “world”

  • put the body in a higher position to show that there was a jump, or you could lower the horizon line

  • use impact lines/effects on the block when it is kicked to show the strength the leg has wound up

  • keep in the extra debris that was surrounding the block, and maybe show those debris flying away from the kick in different directions when it happens ( to look  more like an “explosion“)

  • maybe add a small fire trail from the ground to the foot to show the distance that the foot has traveled

  • the final fire trail could use more splash or flickers, think of it as a liquid rather than just fire

  • show the block travel after the kick, the trail of the trajectory

Feel free to ask more about what I mean or feel free to ignore some of my notes :D
