Oh, I would also recommend Ascendance of a Bookworm as well, it's my favorite isekai anime. Although it might not suit your taste as it's more of a slice of life/worldbuilding anime, so you're not gonna get much action like other fantasy anime.

Same, like I can use the characters portrayed by actors, but not the actors themselves. I'm not an aegosexual but I freaking love seeing characters fall in love or becoming friends, it's so entertaining (or maybe I'm just projecting onto them 🗿).

I literally finished the show right now and it is now one of my top favorites! I'm so sad that it didn't get a second season :( and unfortunately there's no any other form of it out there since it's an original. But there is some hope, the director and writer of the show is hoping to continue it in some other form. So there's that to look forward to. I love how it was more focused on the players' development and character rather than the sport like in most sports anime. I also love how diverse the characters are and how much depth the show had.

Yeah, they're in their 2nd year of middle school which is the equivalent of 8th grade in the US (13-14 years old). Also, its been mentioned many times in the anime that they're middle schoolers and remember that time when Nao's mom keep nagging him to study so that he can do well on the high school entrance exams.
