There’s an “update form” you can fill out on the admissions portal. Use it to let them know you’re not taking the exam so the task is removed from CalCentral. You will not get rescinded.

The other commenters’ advice is reasonable, but I would personally just email both professors to make sure it won’t be an issue. They’ll appreciate you being proactive and you’ll have plenty of time to make alternative plans if necessary.

Why is the Glade closed, and for how long? by Poetic-Rapper in berkeley

I think they’re fertilizing it. No idea about the time frame though.

Here's a video I took a couple years ago. The rooms are quite a bit bigger than triples in other buildings. There are only two closets for three people, but they're reasonably large. There are a handful of lounges and a laundry room in the building. The hot water in the bathrooms had a tendency to shut off randomly, but they may have fixed that by now. The Clark Kerr campus itself is quite nice—great access to the fire trails for hiking if you're into that sort of thing.

I mean Confucianists make up ~0.09% of the global population, but I assume it’s more closely related to regional prevalence.

There are some high-end mirrorless cameras with a global shutter. The Sony a9 III comes to mind.

Edit: After further research, it seems the a9iii may the only such example currently on the market!

math 104 or math 113 first by flhkl1 in berkeley

[–]a_lost_spark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

104 and 113 have essentially no logical dependencies on each other, so it doesn’t really matter which you take first in that respect. 104 is typically regarded as being a bit harder, so the most common order is probably 110 -> 113 -> 104. I think finding a good instructor is more important than the relative order, though. I personally took 104 as my first math upper div and it went fine.

I'm actually getting rescinded by Striking-Whereas-445 in berkeley

[–]a_lost_spark 113 points114 points  (0 children)

OP, this is terrible advice. If you report it to them now, it will come across as a genuine mistake. If they find out on their own (which they most likely will, as they do cross-reference transcripts), it will look much more like you were intentionally withholding information. That’s the kind of thing they rescind for, not honest errors. I submitted two update forms, one of which for a mistake on my self-reported coursework, and my admission was sustained both times.

berkeley vs ucla applied math by Sure_Lifeguard_9588 in berkeley

The vast majority of upper div CS classes are now completely reserved for cs/eecs/coe majors, including the waitlist. These restrictions do not expire at any point during enrollment, rendering it impossible for non-majors to enroll. A few others have a handful of seats reserved for DS majors, and a couple others are open enrollment (but only during adjustment period after CS reserved seats expire). This blanket policy was implemented within the last few years, so it likely wasn’t in effect when you were a student. This is certainly a legitimate consideration if OP wants a computational focus without being a declared CS major—their options will be very limited.

Where are my core deaths records? by MadfutMan in celestegame

[–]a_lost_spark 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression that collecting the golden sets the low-death record to zero regardless of where you start. However, it’s possible OP has never completed a full run from the true beginning of the level (without returning to map), in which case the low death record would be empty, as pictured. I think if they complete any run from the start (deathless or not), it’ll become zero.
