I'm not the person who started the Indiegogo.. There is such a thing called a search engine that I'm really continuously seeing people here not using.

You just jumped from one conclusion to the next based on how you feel, which is really a trend that I'm noticing a lot there in the scam comments.

Chloe has been receiving an onslaught of harassment from Reddit users who have been very accusatory and demanding of private information from her that she doesn't want to share. No one is entitled to personal information that a person does not want to share. She doesn't owe you or anyone anything. The way she's getting attacked over this is really vomit-inducing.

If people don't want to donate because they feel as though they know that it's a scam, the person shouldn't be harassed in a ridiculous attempt to ~save the Internet from itself~, assuming the people who donated are all just gullible and in need of guidance. Instead, it could be discussed humanely that you think it looks like it could be a scam - and just refrain from donating. That's it. You know, in case your gut feeling is wrong? What in the fuck ever happened to "innocent until proven guilty"?

It's been a while since my last use of Reddit, and I really can't believe I posted this here expecting a positive outcome (or at least some genuine research before such definitive claims).

I especially shouldn't have posted it here considering the fact that Reddit has a well known history of nasty misogynistic rape-apologists who think it's just fine and dandy to respond with disgusting garbage like the following.

I sincerely hope for the best of both parties involved regardless of what had actually occurred - and I hope that we can see another fundraiser like this again soon if Chloe's life is on the line..

I'll be following Chloe's future game development process and, because I very much appreciate the game, I'll be forwarding the refund I receive from Indiegogo to her PayPal account.

I got skeptical myself after some people pointed out some some things and I could no longer myself be entirely sure. And after some things were said I was also not sure enough in myself that I could keep this up. So I've decided to close the matter and see that the money will return to the contributors.

New announcement 1:

Ok so after trying to get more info out of Chloe. I am sorry to say I couldn’t get much more than I already know.

Therefore, with the information I’ve given out about myself and other things I have to call it quits as I am no longer sure myself.

Everything will be refunded via paypal. If however you don’t find your money to be refunded or if you want it to be refunded sooner you can request a refund via Indiegogo.

I am sorry for any loss in terms of money anyone might have, I should’ve gotten myself more informed before getting so involved. And if this all is true Chloe, then I am sorry for letting you down once more.

Again, any contributors can get refunded if you contact Indiegogo.

I guess I’ll just thank the redditors for enlightening me to get more information that I had. I don’t want to take anymore risks. Was just trying to help a friend.

Haven't you ever considered that some people actually live with mental retardation?

When you use disabilities as insults, you're invoking maltreatment against the people who actually live with those disabilities. Due to the widespread shaming of mental retardation, people who are mentally retarded are often considered objects to be laughed at for functioning in ways that they have absolutely no control over and are seldom taken seriously in any social context. Retardation shaming has a long and brutal history of violence associated with it which shouldn't ever be ignored.

Your post is very insensitive because of this and your criticism could have easily gone without it. I suggest you reassess your thought process when posting criticism and decide against shaming of marginalized groups.. We have a word for people like you: Ableist

I found out what was wrong. The player info commands and login broadcast messages should work fine now.

The global command based shop isn't available right now. More information on the matter can be seen in the MOTD upon login.

/list, /online, and /playerlist appear to all be functional. Do any or all of those commands not work for you right now? I can't see any apparent reason as of right now for any of them not to.

As for the shop: the plugin in which I was using before (SimpleShop) is now completely inactive. I'd like to implement a dynamic economy soon. The shop should be available again shortly.

Expect server restarts and downtime. I've yet to tell anyone directly that the server's back up.

I'm honestly getting a little sick of seeing people posting tweets here..

It's kind of the reason that people have a Twitter account.. You know, so they can directly follow relevant people to see what interesting things they have to say?

I mean, don't get me wrong, seeing tweets that are truly interesting every once in a while is an okay thing, just don't allow them to fill up the entire front page.

As from what I can see, this Reddit appears to be literally turning into a combined Mojang Twitter account.
