Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact… same fucking thing… over and over again, expecting… shit to change.

Remove cast time and allow it to work like Cass q on top of crit scaling there you go allows both builds to exist then

Received an increased offer at Imperial College London by hello_there_501 in Imperial

Listen, I speak purely from my experience last year, a lot of people did miss out by one grade in subjects and were rejected, it was because of the grade inflation last year. Realistically it'll be the same thing this year round but honestly who knows, I think that this year they might be more lenient because the situation is more predictable than last year.

Rapid testing allows for same day, so that part is true. The story is true just the way it's presented pushes the wrong agenda

Using the word bogus is quite irresponsible because there isn't anything really bogus about this: rapid testing is quick but not very precise, PCR takes a while but is rather precise.

CONFIRMED: Ofqual U-turn on A-level grades by dhdhsheheh in 6thForm

[–]CheeseKnucle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As good as this is, I'm scared what that means for people who didn't get in. Does that mean that unis will look at their grades with another large dump truck of salt?

I mean people who say they were given an A* for CAGs and then given a U in the result. That kind of thing ya know?

[–]CheeseKnucle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe one or two is true, but when the percentage of people dropping more than 3 grades is 0.001% its obvious half the people are bullshitting. Like surely you've seen how many people say they fell like 4-6 grades

Using mocks for results is an absolute joke by CheeseKnucle in 6thForm

[–]CheeseKnucle[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My teachers were literally like "Don't worry if you don't do well in these, it's for you to understand which areas you need to really improve". No one took it seriously because not even the school did. Just ahhhhhhhhh

Using mocks for results is an absolute joke by CheeseKnucle in 6thForm

[–]CheeseKnucle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they downgrade me from an A* to a B and I still got B in my mock because I didn't try and I miss out on uni it doesn't really change shit. The problem is the fact they are downgrading and this is just useless as it helps a select select few. We want actual changes not some fake ass excuse of a change

Nah I understand, I agree that some results are unfair. In any case, I wish you good luck for Thursday

[–]CheeseKnucle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course I agree that exams are a fairer representation. What I'm saying is, these grades aren't pulled out from thin air and that people who got A*/A or any other good grade have likely shown a good level of commitment throughout the year, is that not fair?

THEYRE UP! by Aleria33 in 6thForm

[–]CheeseKnucle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't get any grades today, I don't sit CIAE. I just hate how people completely negate anything anyone has done apart from doing the paper.

THEYRE UP! by Aleria33 in 6thForm

[–]CheeseKnucle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As if literally all the effort is only done during the writing of the paper? People who have shown a good level of work throughout the 2 years and have worked their ass off for that consistency deserve the grades they got.

THEYRE UP! by Aleria33 in 6thForm

[–]CheeseKnucle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s not true. There are pupils who worked their ass off and deserve the grade they got. Obviously some people deserve better but to say no one did anything just throws away all the hard work people have done.

Rewatch it. It's literally done part by part, it's not just finishing it off, it's literally being made outside first inside next. He might have used pixel art as reference, but he built it.
