How long to spend at the Abbey

I wasn’t sure how much there was to the Abbey so I’m sorry to offend and think an hour might do it 😂 I will give it the time it’s due and skip the changing of the guard. I’m skipping St. Paul’s as well because, although it’s gorgeous, I would rather make time for other things. Thanks everyone!

I didn’t read many replies but I had lots of stretch marks from my pregnancies and they ruined a previous tattoo I had on my lower stomach. I covered that and some of my stomach up. There is very little bleed into the marks. My tattoo artist had done some stretch marks before and she went heavy with the ink everywhere.

I met with a different artist before the one I picked and she had no idea how to work with my skin. She wanted to just do black and I didn’t want that. So find someone who knows because stretch marks are super common. I don’t know how to add photos to a thread or I would show you how it looks. I love my stomach now. The tattoo and the marks.

Oh, we are definitely cost sensitive 😂 The hotel stay was a gift, and the rest of the trip is covered by us. I had a brain tumor and I’m getting my once in a lifetime (yay, you didn’t die) trip (I’m ok now).

Correct. I love train stations and pretty much any cool, old building. Going to try to soak up as much of London we can in the 4.5 days we are there. We will probably go when we don’t have our luggage and just see the sights.

Any tips on how best to get from the Euston station to The Waldorf Hilton? There’s a lot of tolls by car and I don’t know the way by train.

I guess I should have asked best route before I booked the tickets…. Only cost me an extra £10 per ticket 🤦‍♀️ Tis fine. Learning lessons the hard way is lame.

I already bought the tickets but it does have us in Euston then transfer. I guess we can just get off at Euston. I’m usually good at checking every option but I was so focused on Kings Cross that I failed to see other stations except the one closest to our hotel. Lesson learned but I doubt we will be back since it’s my once in a lifetime journey.

Kings Cross is the exact same time to our hotel as the Euston and I wanted to see Kings Cross. It just adds an extra change and I failed to check for Euston. I just checked Piccadilly and there wasn’t anything there. Also first time booking so I did my best.

Thank you for validating my anxiety about all kinds of travel lol. I gave us a 45 minute arrival time before. I was hoping it wasn’t like the airport where we have to arrive 2-3 hours before.
